They are a little smaller than what I would call a standard earlobe, so it does not dangle at all. The purple is more pale in color than as shown in photo, but that could be my computer screen. These are really cute and are a good deal for the price. I have a nickel allergy but like to have a wardrobe of earrings I can wear, so these are perfect. They're small, and the citrine is hard to see, but for the price I'm not complaining. The larger issue is the packaging and the result of that packaging. As with other reviewers, my earrings came in a plastic bag, which was torn on arrival (it's fortunate that the earrings didn't fall out!) and one earring was bent. I was able to straighten it myself but am concerned about having compromised the strength of the bent post and am hoping it won't break. The earrings are inexpensive, but that doesn't mean they're disposable or that I'd like to waste the money I spent for them! ... show more
