First of all, the ball I received was baby blue and not the least bit like the one pictured. The ball is good for home practice but there's no way in the world it will knock down any pins in a real bowling alley. It bounces if it's dropped, so you won't have to worry about hurting the floor if you drop it. The finger holes were spaced properly for an adult hand.

Mine came blue like a lot of other posts. I don’t mind the color but it’s not what I ordered. It does fit very comfortably with my fat sausage fingers as a grown man. Holes too big for children. Needed this for a project instead of a real bowling ball.

27/9/16 Tried at the bowling alley, the ball doesn't move to the end. Not suitable to be used at bowling alley. Bad choice of mine to have bought this ball, didn't realise it is rubberized ball. Ball came with holes already drilled. Bought for my 5 years old grandson who takes a liking to Bowling. Good as a beginner ball. It will be good if holes are drilled for children's use.

Bought this to use in our long, narrow ranch-style home hallway. Yes this is plastic, but the rubberized coating makes it fine on my hardwood floors. It rolls true. The finger holes are a bit large, so a child would need to use the two-handed method. Quality is good.

bought this for kids to be able to use at bowling alley or eslewhere. it is light, but unfortunately the ball has an outer coating that sticks to hardwood floors, thus slowing it down. Forget a bowling alley as even an adult would find it difficult to get teh ball to reach the pins. so the only alternative is carpet, which useless!
