This kit allows you to safely run your portable generator or inverter outside while connecting essential appliances to the prewired receptacle box located inside your home. The interior receptacle box is equipped with 6 standard 120-volt household receptacles (5-20R), 2 USB-A ports, and 2 USB-C ports, so you can easily power your emergency essentials without the need to run extension cords through windows or doors. The kit also includes an outdoor-rated, exterior- mounted inlet box with a 30-amp twist-lock connection (L14-30P) that securely receives power from your portable generator or inverter and transfers it indoors. Installing the Through Wall Generator Kit is straightforward, with only four wires to connect: black, red, green (ground), and white (neutral). The prewired kit includes 16 inches of cable, a 12-inch by ½-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit to accommodate various wall thicknesses, and all necessary mounting hardware to make installation quick and hassle-free. Built-in, resettable circuit breakers provide added protection for connected devices. The indoor-rated, cETLus-listed interior receptacle box can be surface-mounted directly to drywall, and all necessary hardware is included. This kit allows for fast and easy connection of your essential appliances during a power outage while keeping you and your family safe from generator exhaust. Using your Champion 100395 generator cord, or an equivalent, you can connect any 120- or 240-volt portable generator (L14-30 receptacle or suitable adapters required) to the exterior power inlet box.
