This was shockingly thick and warm, good quality. Can't find much of anything these days even close to the size, or the thickness & quality of stuff from the 80s or 90s. This is, at least so far. (The downside of course is it's probably going to shrink too much, like every Champion fleece does... I haven't even got a washer or dryer, everything is hand washed & line dried, and yet it all shrinks in 6 months to a year and I have to replace it. I can't afford to keep replacing stuff this often at these prices; and all Champion stuff on here is factory seconds/rejects-there's something wrong with it, even if it's not that noticeable.) The only thing I would "ding" it for is the lack of color options. Champion has kind of a standard set of colors they use and this particular burgundy isn't exciting at all (and hair and food and dandruff show up like CRAZY). But the fit is great, it's warm, it's durable, so I can't take off a star for dandruff, lol. ... show more

We needed a hoodie for the cold months for lounging. After trying many different types this one was the best by far, totally worth the cost. The fabric is wonderfully thick and soft cotton. It's heavier in weight and gives an instant cozy feeling, at the same time you don't feel like you're smothered by polyester. The fit could be a bit better. I have purchased Champion products all my life. This is one of many Champion hoodies I have bought for my husband.. Beautiful qualoty, excellent fit.. he is a 3XL so trying to find stylish , well made clothes in that size is tough. This hoodie fits perfect and is thick and warm. The Champion Full ZIP Hoodie has got to be one of the heaviest sweatshirts out on the market. It is a casual and may not be the best under a blazer. Out of the gate it is super soft. In my opinion, the fit is almost perfect. It’s maybe a hair on the big side and I mean a hair. Unlike George Constanta, there was no shrinkage after a wash. As others have said, the zipper is somewhat rough and you don’t want to get any flesh stuck in the zipper. It does seems like it will last for years. ... show more

    • Not sure if it’s worth keeping
This just came and I’m not surely if I’ll be keeping it yet. Back story: I’m a woman who hasn’t been looking for the perfect grey zip up hoodie for a while now. I kept coming back to this one because Champion is a classic and always great quality. I have several vintage reverse weave pieces and I knew I’d like it. I’m 5’3” and about 120lbs. I went with the men’s small and it’s a decent fit - it’s oversized in a good way but it IS slightly larger than I expected. I’m ok with the size though. My hesitation on keeping it has to do with the quality of the fabric. It’s not as thick as reverse weave used to be. It’s heavier than a cheap sweatshirt...but honestly not by a ton. I’ve had a bunch of the cheap $20 Hanes zip hoodies and this feels more similAr to those than I’d like it to for $65. That said it IS nice and I like the way it looks on. Soo just have to decide if it’s worth the $! ... show more
