This is a nice light-weight hoodie. Perfect for wearing another jacket on top of. It is not a heavy-duty hoodie that's going to protect you from the chills or wind on its own though. I'm not sold on what this 'powerblend' is supposed to be but it feels like cotton. So it is not waterproof or water-resistant; not what I want to wear when it's actually raining (light drizzle) since this will likely absorb all the water and then you'll be soaked. Perfect though for the gym to warm up in; or go jogging when it's brisk but not cold. I like the color (Navy) as it's a really deep and dark blue. I'm not a big fan of the plastic zipper and would've preferred that Champion made it out of metal but it is what it is. Guess it keeps costs down? And make sure you tie a knot around the drawstring, cause you could accidentally get it pulled through and loose the ability to cinch the hood. Pretty nice, good cost, wish it was a little bit thicker with a metal zipper instead of plastic; 4-stars. ... show more

I bought this to wear when I go for my 2-mile walk every morning at 6 am. Now that it is dark in the morning, I needed a white coat so cars could see me when I crossed the street. This hoodie is white!!! It shows up in headlights with no problem, Note that I also got a blinking green armband as well. I've already had one car come at me before stopping rapidly when my coat and armband reflected brightly at him or her. So as far as I'm concerned, the coat is a success already. As to fit and build, I bought a large and gave it a cold wash and a hot dryer. Still a bit roomy but not overlarge. Construction is good, zipper works well, the bottom edge comes down to just past my belt. Sleeves are slightly long, but one turn-up and they are perfect. I could always wash it on warm or hot if I thought it needed more shrinking. It's a middle-weight coat, more light then heavy, with room for thicker shirts under it. Fabric feels good. I bought this same hoodie about 10 years ago. I wore it on my travels around the world. Since the color had faded and the lining thinned out a bit, I thought it was time to buy a new one. So I bought the same color. In 10 years, I'll buy another one if it's still being manufactured.

I received the oxford gray today & it doesn't look like the picture. There is no blue in the hood only white/light gray. I have several gray ones that I have ordered in the past couple yrs. & they all have blue fleece hoods. Also, the fit is not as appealing.
