I use these and these types of shorts most of the time while I'm at home, but also to do exercise, work out and just about everything except for going out and to stores, stuff like that where I need to put things in my pockets like keys and wallet. They are very comfortable and I love the all cotton feel. My only issue lately is that they are made less roomy than they used to be, as noticed compared to previous orders. They kind of feel like I put them on backwards and they are rather form fitting in the front. They are not as relaxed or baggy as they used to be. They are still good, and this may also be due to variations in production from different countries. I have to use the drawstrings when I carry my phone in my pocket to help keep them up since I have a Gru body. I have broken a few drawstrings, so the drawstring is not very strong, but overall they are comfortable for all day wearing and exercise and they are thick so they last a while. Overall good for the price, but I usually wait for the price to dip.

I bought these for about twelve dollars each in dark blue and in xxxxl for myself at 52” waist and also XL for my partner who is 40” waist. These are very lightweight and have elastic and drawstring. These feel comfortable, length is great, not current basketball Length and not 1970’s basketball length. Maybe an inch or two shorter than current MENS shorts tend to run in the USA. These are more similar to an Australian men’s shorts length but not Tradie shorts short. I find these to be spot on for length for Florida living. I find these comfortable enough for quick public trips to the market or hardware store and they are not weight to the floor with a slim wallet and car key. I leave my phone in the car when I go marketing on most stops yet I did take it once and the phone remained in the seat of the shopping cart as it felt like it wanted to drop my shorts to the ground. Before switching brands I bought these shorts for someone else in May 2016 (for $8) and they arrived in good condition! Since I have not heard any complaints from the new owner I cannot comment on the quality nor the fit, but hopefully there have been zero issues. Because of this and the fact that they were found at a decent price, the “Champion Men's Jersey Short With Pockets, Granite Heather, Large” gets a serviceable 3/5 stars!

The only downside to these shorts is the elastic band is not sewn inside of the waist band, but not a deal breaker for affordable gym shorts that make it easy to toss them when they are destroyed. I will say they run a TINY bit small as I have always worn the same size and even with loosing weight these are a bit tighter than the older models.
