I thought these were great. They are the thinner material which is what I wanted for the gym. As for the size, I don't know what everyone was talking about that they are too small and shrunk up to nothing after washing. Knowing from my previous purchases of Champion sweats at Macys, etc., they always did seem to run small. So I heeded everyone's advice I got a 5XL. Even after washing, they were still enormous. So I dropped down to 4XL, still way too big. So I took the chance I got a few of the 2XL's (which would never have fit if I bought them at a retail store, yeah, i dont get it either) and they fit perfect.
