Bold, Brutal, and Beautiful – A Must-Have Box Set
Format: Paperback
I recently picked up the Chainsaw Man Box Set (Volumes 1–11), and I’m honestly super impressed. This set covers the first arc of the series, and having it all in one package just makes it feel like a real collectible. What Makes It Great: Comprehensive Content: You’re getting the first 11 volumes — that’s a solid chunk of Denji’s story, with plenty of action, humor, and character development. Viz +1 Awesome Extras: It comes with an exclusive double-sided full-color poster, which is a really nice touch for fans. AESOP'S FABLE +1 Good Value: Depending on where you buy, this box set can be a pretty good deal compared to buying each volume separately. For example, GameSpot mentions a steep discount sometimes. GameSpot Nicely Packaged: The slipcase feels sturdy and looks great on a shelf — it’s not just functional; it’s made for display. Good Page Count: Across all 11 volumes, you’re getting over 2,100 pages of manga in this set. Bookmag Things to Consider: Print Quality Variability: Some people in the collector community mention that these box sets use Italian-printed editions, which apparently can be thinner or more translucent than Japanese or U.S. prints. Reddit +2 Reddit +2 Manufacturing Issues: A few users have reported printing problems — like off-center pages or ink bleeding — so it’s worth inspecting your copy when it arrives. Reddit Size Differences: There’s talk that the volumes in the box set may feel a little different in size compared to other editions, but many reviewers say the difference is minimal. Reddit Part 1 Only: This set only includes volumes 1–11 (Part 1 of Chainsaw Man). If you want the full story, you’ll need to pick up the later volumes separately. ComingSoon Overall Impression: If you’re a Chainsaw Man fan — or thinking about getting into it — this box set is totally worth it. It’s stylish, full of content, and feels like a real collector item. Yes, there are some quirks with print quality, but for the price and what you get, it’s a great deal. Highly recommend for both reading and displaying.

Awesome
Format: Paperback
Loved the anime and wanted to read the manga and saw this at a good price and had to get it. It brings a nice little poster and the art on it and the box are both really nice. I would totally recommend this to anyone interested in the anime or other manga.

Chaotic, emotional, and completely unforgettable
Format: Paperback
The Chainsaw Man Vol. 1–11 box set is one of the best modern manga collections you can own. From the very first volume, Tatsuki Fujimoto delivers something raw and unpredictable. It starts violent and absurd — but quickly evolves into something much deeper. Denji’s journey is chaotic, tragic, and surprisingly emotional. What looks like pure madness at first slowly reveals themes of loneliness, desire, manipulation, trauma, and the simple human need for connection. The story constantly subverts expectations — just when you think you know where it’s going, it changes direction. The artwork is gritty and dynamic. The fight scenes are explosive and cinematic, but it’s the quiet emotional panels that hit the hardest. Fujimoto knows how to make moments breathe before tearing everything apart. The box set itself is fantastic — sturdy packaging, beautiful cover art, and it includes an exclusive poster that makes it feel special for collectors. This isn’t just a violent shonen. It’s emotional, unpredictable, and bold. A must-have for anyone building a serious manga collection.

A New Classic
Format: Paperback
Swept I was, by the audacity, the raw surge that is Tatsuki Fujimoto's craft. This is no mere manga; it is an experience visceral, a force that seizes you by the scruff and relents not. The box set, to which I ascribe a steadfast 5 out of 5 stars, stands as a testament to the narrative's grip, its power to captivate, to hold fast the mind of the reader. Upon its arrival, the package spoke of promise. The box, a bastion of art, robust and alive, its images leaping forth, demanding the gaze of all who pass. It was evident, the care, the precision taken in its creation. Each volume within, a portal to chaos, to the hunt of devils, where heroes and antiheroes dance upon the line of shadow and light. The poster, a riot of color, of frenzy, came unexpected, a boon, though tales tell of some sets bereft of this jewel. A slight mar upon what is otherwise a presentation without blemish. The volumes, mirrors of their singular brethren, offer no surprise but the comfort of their collective embrace. In the tale of Denji, of his devil chainsaw Pochita, I found terror and mirth intertwined. Fujimoto's narrative is bold, unyielding, steeped in blood. It recoils not from the grotesque but weaves amidst the carnage threads of warmth, of jest. The cast, a tapestry of complexity, each a spiral of their own making, winding through the tale. Denji's ascent, from the depths of a hunter's plight to a stature grand and cryptic, is a journey untamed, a path strewn with the unexpected. The dance of action is a spectacle, each sequence a burst of movement, a visual symphony that thrums with life, with the finality of death. It is a feast for the eyes, each panel a meticulous work, vibrant with existence. In sum, the Chainsaw Man box set is more than a mere assembly of volumes. It is an odyssey, an immersion into a narrative singular in its thrill, its uniqueness. For the devotee or the neophyte, this collection is a keystone, an essential piece of the manga pantheon. It is an ode to the form, a paean to the genre, a journey wild, fueled by the roar of chainsaws, not to be forsaken.

Probably my favorite of the more recent manga
Format: Paperback
Let me just throw out there I am an older fan of manga & anime. I am in my late 30's, and loved manga and anime since my teen years. Saying that, I am mostly a fan of older stuff, mostly from the 80's & 90's, but I tend to dabble in new stuff too from time to time. Chainsaw Man is definitely one of my favorites coming out so far. It's checks all the boxes for me, it's weird, got a really great story, and some great art to it. One thing I should point out for the manga for those who haven't read it yet: it's art style is a little different here than it is in the anime. It's not as refined as the art in the anime, and comes off as being a bit scratchy in some ways. Personally, I REALLY enjoyed this style. I did notice some reviewers saying they didn't like the art as much as the anime and I feel like that's a fair assessment, the art in the anime is top notch and going from that to the style in the manga CAN be a bit jarring if you don't know what to expect This box set itself was pretty good as far as box sets go. The images on the box are great, and doesn't feel all cheap, and it's cool it comes with the poster (even if it IS too small for me to want to hang up). The volumes, and their covers themselves, however, are the same as the singles you can buy individually. You're not getting any alternate covers, additional chapters/volumes, or any "making of" volumes. There's NO extras here beyond the box & poster, so if you already own the single volumes, all you'll be spending your money on is a cardboard box & poster. This box set is definitely worth it of you loved the anime, and haven't picked up any of the volumes yet. You're gonna get a great read with some REALLY great art, a great story, and interesting characters. If you already own the single volumes, you can very easily easily pass on this one because you won't be missing out on anything. My one major gripe though, is that Amazon is clumsy with their box packing. There was barely any packing materials in the shipping box, so the actual manga box had some damage to it. The lid was a little bent down the middle, and there is a big indentation on a side. This makes me REALLY wary from ordering premium items like this from Amazon in the future to be honest.
