These things durability seem almost indestructible. It can be a little goofy, getting them, totally tight and cinched down, but once they do, there is no getting them off. Hopefully they don’t rust. We will see in the future. The quality of this for the money I thought was very, very good. Do you be careful if you cut the tags they become very sharp

I've used these in several places (fencing, building cages and securing wiring) and they worked everywhere. A few times I had to piggyback two ties to get around the item. I prefer to use side cutting pliers (formerly called dikes for diagonal cutting pliers) to cut them off close to the latch point. They can also be cut further away and the tag end folded back to prevent a sharp edge being left accessible to fingers, etc. For long term use outside I'll use these over the plastic zip ties (even the UV resistant ones). Good idea well implemented.

I have always used the plastic zip ties. I bought some privacy fence screen and, in my experience, once weather takes its toll, they usually break. I happened across these and bought them and feel more comfortable with knowing because of the material, they will more than likely not suffer weather related damage.
