Looked at a bunch of different skates before buying these and decided on them because they seemed to have a wider toe and midsole. I actually like the lower heel style more as well, I’m not speed skater by any means, just a casual rink/path kinda guy. I swapped the wheels for outdoor ones so I can’t offer any critique on the ones it comes with until I switch back. Quality is good no trouble with straps breaking or anything. The laces are nice and sturdy and don’t come undone easily. It goes without saying that you should check all the hardware for tightness and adjust it to your skill level. The trucks came pretty tight but I loosened them up a bit as I got my skills back, seeing as I hadn’t skated in over 20 years. Very happy with my purchase! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have a wide foot. It has been very difficult to find skates that fit. Finally, I found these skates. I have been skating every chance I get for hours at a time without blisters or foot pain. The quality of the skate is excellent. You may have to adjust the trunks to your skill set. The bearings seemed to stick on the right skate. While skating backwards, you can feel the pull from the bearings. This is really not a big deal since I will eventually change them. Not only did my skates arrive a day early but they are exactly what I ordered! They do have a “new skate” smell which just means they are brand new! So excited to break them in before heading to the track. Just wearing them for a bit they feel like the perfect pair of newbie skates. They do fit true to size and have room for the wider foot (like mine) I am usually a 7.5 in woman’s and enjoy a wider shoe so this works perfectly ... show more

I skate indoors, they’re nice skates for the money. The only complaint that I have is when going fast there is a roaring noise coming from the wheels . I’ve loosened up the nuts on the wheels a little to help free them up and still humming but not as bad. I have about 10 hours skate time on them since New. I’ve had probably a month. I’ve been looking to purchase new wheels and bearings. I ended up buying some backspin eclipse wheels and made a world of difference. Paid $100 For skates and $115 for the wheels.
