I got this bed after reading the reviews and expecting it to be a decent mattress on a budget. I let the mattress air out on a folding bed frame for 24 hours with an open window near by. No smells that I could notice other than the plastic packaging it came in which wasn’t strong either. It’s surprisingly light when expanded and easy to maneuver. The box was heavy. It is a medium firm mattress. Has some give when pressed on but you don’t sink. It molds nicely to your sleeping position without sinking. Springs right back. I slept on it overnight and found that it was very comfortable. It provided support needed when I was on my side, and was good for when I rolled in every direction. I tend to wake up 5-7 times a night and only woke up once to use the restroom. It’s a quality mattress and I woke up feeling refreshed. Provided relief on back, joint, nerve pain, and found I did not have any problems. In terms of longevity I can’t say, I’ve had this less than a week. Overall though it’s nice.

Don't know if you've priced a mattress lately but some are so costly you might need a second mortgage on the house. With mattress ads on TV stating their sale price is $500 off I cringe at what the original price might be. Fortunately I found the Charme House on Amazon with great reviews and took a chance. So glad I did as I'm so impressed that I look forward to bedtime. I recently had right shoulder surgery ( rotator cuff repair ) which requires sleeping on my left side. With my older mattress I would accidentally roll over on my right side which would cause pain and disrupt my sleep. Not so with the Charme House as its so supportive I sleep in one position and don't toss and turn. I was able to use my original box springs so a new foundation was not needed.

Love the look and feel as it is very well made. My only issue that made me not able to give it a 5 star review is that it’s listed as a medium firm mattress and it’s truly a softer bed. One’s body sinks a bit into it and I am in no way heavy where weight would be a factor. It still works fine for me as I’m ok with a softer bed but if you are looking for a firmer bed, this is not it or you will need a firm topper for it. I purchased a Cali-King for reference. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

I bought the 14 inch mattress and it is the most comfortable mattress I have had. I have bought 4 mattresses from Amazon over the years and have liked every one of them, but this one is the best! It is firm, but not too firm (bc it has memory foam at the top). I have an adjustable bedframe bc of some occasional back pain, but this matress is so comfortable Yes, you can find cheaper King size mattresses, but sometimes you get what you pay for, and this mattress is very good!

It took me a little over seven minutes to unbox, set up, and for it to fully expand. No overpowering smell, just a "new car" hint that dissipated in an hour or two of being in our closed up house. For scale, I am autistic, and am very sensitive to smell. I had no objections. I did this on my own, five months post craniotomy, and I have dysautonomia and severe chronic pain. You can do this. I thought our old mattress was medium firm. This is much firmer than we are used to. It is very supportive. If you get sore on soft mattresses, if you require a stiffer bed for medical reasons, if you get a good night's rest while camping, this is the mattress for you. If you are looking for a sink-in cushion from memory foam, this isn't it. My husband is a back sleeper. He is sleeping adequately on this mattress, as he prefers a firmer sleeping surface. I am a side and stomach sleeper. I don't sleep as comfortably, but, it is still better than a coil mattress. I drool more, now, so. . . . I guess that means I'm sleeping deeper? Eh, I'm sleeping. Make extra sure this is the softness/firmness you seek. This is not the "leaves a handprint" softness you picture when you think of memory foam. This is more like. . . . sleeping on a giant slab of tough beef, and I am a vegetarian. I mentioned before that I have dysautonomia. This includes hyperhidrosis. I don't sweat, I RAIN. So far, I'm not leaving a puddle where my torso goes. I haven't been with this mattress during a flair, or during the warmer months, but, so far so good in the cooling respect. It's not cold, but I think it all works well as far as moisture wicking and temperature regulation. This is also with a mattress cover on it. So, it could be even cooler without it, but, we have pets, and I am not taking any chances. Great product for those seeking even pressured, firm, coma sleep. Not so great if you want a soft surface on top, but firm support a couple inches deeper. The star rating reflects my personal discomfort with the product combined with my inability to return/exchange this purchase, BUT, it is very well made. Wonderful quality. Packaged well. Not the right one for me, but, I'm stuck with it for the next decade or two since there is no way to try before you are committed with this product. We don't have the luxury of buying another one. It's like a tattoo, or arranged marriage when you are working class. 💔
