The media could not be loaded. At first was SORELY disappointed, but I gave them a week to break and they sound insanely clean!! I can't believe I'm saying this but they are better sounding than my Rockford Fosgate T1 6.5. At 180$. They need break in because the spiders are so rigid. That means for 2 pairs I paid ALMOST for 1 pair or Rockfords. I also love the woven tinsel leads and rugged construction. Just like my Rockfords, however! This have a better midbass ;) just the way I like it. Less power draw on my competition Rockford Fosgate t-600 gave me extra power to Rockford amp! Do yourself a favor and buy an ultra low distortion amp like Rockford power series or Orion hcca. Give them 1-2 weeks and let them rock your world! They do need power!! Great sounding speakers! Replaced a set of Memphis component speakers in my F150 with these as the Memphis speakers fell apart. These are noticeably better quality in both the woofer and tweeter construction and sound quality. The volume on them at 15 on my head unit is louder, clearer, and fuller than than the Memphis speakers on volume level 25. Why I did not go with Cerwin Vega speakers the first time, I do not know (had CVs in my previous vehicle and never had a problem with them). Just make sure to run an amp with them. Very loud and lots of bass for mid drive speakers. The tweeters are crisp and shine through mids and low with no issue at all. Magnets are quite large so check for clearance or use spacers to clear windows. These are not made to be ran off of a head unit alone, they need an amp to drive them properly. Due to large magnet if you are using for kick panels I had to order a 1" spacer. Very disappointed they didn't come with speaker grilles. I was under the impression all companies include a matching grille with the speaker. Guess not.

When initially installed I was disappointed. Now that I have broken them in they do sound pretty good. Also they do get loud and considering the frequency range they do sound tight and respond better than expected at lower level frequency ranges. I have these powered by the Kenwood KAC-M3004

I have these in a 95 Integra. 4 tweeters and 4 6.5 mid bass with supplied cross overs. Also have a Cerwin Vega hed 12" sub in a sealed box. These component speakers are way better than I thought they would be. Using 3. 300 watt Fosgate amps. Sound is crisp, clear & bass hits very hard. I would recommend these speakers to anyone.
