The media could not be loaded. I first learned about them from a Home Theater installer who only found this cable and a $600 one to pass spec, so he only uses them. I did a lot of research before buying, and this was the only "cheap" fiber cable that is HDMI 2.1 40Gbps certified, and passed HDMI cable testers. The only other option that was close was the Ruipro "Teal", but people have issues with them as well. I'm glad to say that hooking my PC with RTX 4090 to my JBL SDP-55 Pre/Pro via the 20m/65ft version resulted in no issues. I put about 2 hours of Horizon Zero Dawn running 4K/120hz HDR (solid 120fps VSYNC'd) at max settings, and bitstreaming the 7.1 lossless audio (can't remember if it's Atmos). The Gen 2 cables don't have the overheating issues like the Gen 1s. My 4090 put that to the test, because after my gaming session, the Phoossno was too hot to touch for more than a few seconds, but it never had any issues. I also test 4K/120hz 12bit (instead of 10bit), and it worked too. I'm very happy with it, and I recommend that people not waste their time with the cheaper fiber cables because they don't actually meet the 40Gbps spec. ... show more

So finally had chance to install cable, equipment located in adjacent room, so need for long hdmi cable. This replaces a 4k rated fiber cable that worked well with 1080 source and some 4k content, but not hdr or DV , it stutters. OK so new Cable works perfectly , able to send both 4k Dolby Vision & Atmos content , no flickering, no stutter, HDR10 etc. No issues, Audio is working properly, just hope it lasts a few years , quite a deal to re run cable and lift 75 " TV off the wall,pita. Be careful with cable, its fiber ,not 100% copper, also its only 1 Way directional ... show more

I've been using the 10m version of this cable for 3+ years without issue until one day when it randomly started dropping signal & disconnecting. I sent phoossno an email through their website to ask what the warranty was on the cable, since there isn't any information about it on the Amazon listing. Got a 10m Gen2. Passed the HDMI verification (as expected), however, it failed the Denon X3800H cable test (yes, it was connected properly). Not even worth connecting to my system (Denon X3800H, Epson LS12000, PS5, XBOX X, AppleTV. Was expecting better based on reviews and feedback. UPDATE: Got Amazon to replace cable, and new one also passed HDMI verification, and 5/5 Denon cable tests. Will proceed to test against system and see if it can deal with XBOX X and PS5. Keeping fingers crossed. UPDATE: 2022/11/21: sadly another dud cable. Wasn't even able to sync at 18Gbps. HDMI folks really need to get their act together and help consumers instead of making cheap items. that result in nothing but headaches. So how does HDMI certification actually work? Connected my PC with 3080 Ti graphics card to a 77" LG C2 television using this 50 foot cable. Can do up to 4k @ 60hz but screen goes black when trying 4k @ 120hz. Does the cable do what it says? ....not really, but this is my 3rd 50' hdmi cable ordered and at least i get a picture w/sound on this cable. The other two hdmi cables i had no picture at all, so I guess it's just not possible to get 4k @120hz with this long of a cable. Overall i'm pleased with the cable as it puts out a great picture with no blackouts, stuttering or anything else. Would have liked to game on my TV using 120hz but i'll stick with 60hz. Update: 2 yrs later and i'm still rocking a 4k signal @ 60fps with this cable. I see they added the "3080, 3090..." video card numbers in the title prob thanks to my review. AND they even have the balls to put 10k picture with this cable. No way Jose will that ever pass with this cable. Again....can't do 4k @ 120hz ... show more

I can't believe this fiber cable makes such a noticeable difference! I've got a couple shorter certified cables from other companies I like, but this cable gives me the least lag, best color and clarity I've seen on my Acer XB323k NV 144kz monitor. The connectors fit nice and tight and the cable quality is excellent. Gaming is pretty much flawless. Haven't seen any signal degradation or input lag over time. Very impressed! ... show more

Update 08/22: seller contacted me and offered to send a replacement cable. The new one did not get as hot and worked great for over an hour, then started to fail. I'm using a Denon AVR and it runs hot. On a hunch I decided to add a short HDMI extension cable, thinking this might reduce the heating from the AVR on the cable. This worked! The HDMI cable now works perfectly - ran it for several hours now without a single glitch. Excellent customer service from the seller and it looks like this is a great HDMI fiber optic cable after all, with the one caveat that it is kept away from any heat sources. I'd love to know how this was certified. It worked great for the first 15 minutes or so, then started acting up. A few minutes later there was no picture at all. Denon AVR connected directly to a Sony Z9 display. Conventional 15 meter cable works flawlessly and has for years. I see from the reviews that I'm not the only one who had this problem. ... show more

Edit: Had to update my original review as Phoossno reached out to me and rectified the issue. They sent me a new Gen 2 cable because the original Gen 1 had failed on me. Been using it all weekend long and it's been working flawlessly. Just wanted to thank Phoossno for reaching out and really looking out for the consumer! Had the cable for 3 months and died with light use. Had it attached to an lg C1 on a pc used only for light gaming on occasion, one day I find that the graphics card was no longer finding the TV. Tried another cable and found the tv immediately. I determined that the cable died. 90 dollars to crap out in 3 short months of probably no more than 40 hours total use. ... show more
