    • Definitely helps with acne
Cerave is a good brand for a lot of skin care products. I use their daily facial washes and now I bought this face and body acne wash. Mostly, I bought it because recently I had a zit on my forehead that was not going away with salicylic acid washes, so I decided to try benzoyl peroxide instead. With one use that zit dried up quick and disappeared in 2 days. I will say that I did let the product sit on my face for a minute before washing it off. I didn't notice any irritation on my skin or sensitivity. Benzoyl is underrated in my opinion. It's effective at getting rid of stubborn acne, more so than salicylic acid, but it can be drying so you must use moisturizer afterwards. The effectiveness also goes for body acne. Being a woman, I get those nasty painful hormonal acne break outs on my back sometimes and this helps a lot with getting rid of those. I like that it's slightly cheaper than Panoxyl and you don't need a large amount for it to work. ... show more

I am 51 years old going through menopause and for six plus months or more I’ve had terrible cystic, acne, blackheads and oily skin. I’ve tried literally everything, including the dermatologist and nothing has worked. Out of desperation I tried this product. I absolutely hate cream washes, but this has actually worked. after one use the next day everything started drying up. It is a miracle cleanser in my opinion. It’s been a week and a half now and all my acne is gone and no new ones have popped up. I won’t use anything else on my face from now on. As someone who deals with adult & back acne, this had become a staple in my skincare routine. Suuuuper gentle (at least for my skin; I also regularly do acid peels so maybe a grain of salt with that one 😅). I usually apply at the beginning of my shower after a gentle exfoliating & rinse off at the end to allow it time to do it's thing. Only 4⭐ because though it's a lovely consistency, it doesn't foam as advertised. The 4% BPO version does though, & quite beautifully. I haven't noticed any sensitivity, redness, or peeling, which is a huge plus because my skin used to be sensitive to BPO in the past. Added bonus: it truly doesn't dry out your skin. No harsh sulfates that strip your skin's natural oils. One day I decided to try on my back. The literal next day, there was a HUGE noticeable improvement in the cystic breakout I noticed the day prior. It had been reduced to near nothing. Have used for years! Great product. Works pretty good and is pretty gentle for skin unless skin is already damaged. I find it non irritating and effective after continual uses.

    • Amazing Product especially for Back Acne (Bacne)
Amazing! I use this after I change out of my workout clothes on my back. It has helped dramatically. While it didn’t cure everything totally and definitely not overnight, it definitely helped, especially if I can’t shower quickly after the gym. I had a lot of back acne that red and inflamed. Within 2 days the inflammation died down, and within a week I noticed the bumps were decreasing in size. It left my skin so soft after the shower. FOAMING! HOW TO MAKE IT FOAM! At first, like many of the reviews on here said, I thought it didn’t foam at all. I found myself going through the whole bottle within a week. But I then switched to a silicone back brush/scrubber. (Found one on here for like $7). The silicone brush made the way sooooo foamy. I definitely didn’t expect the difference, but a small drop or two went a long way with the brush. I guess the wash absorbs a bit into your fingertips if you follow the directions on the bottle. ... show more

I love this product from Cera va this cleared my skin as well as my doctor spot no harsh smell and if you keep it for like 5 mins and wash it off you’ll see a difference.
