These are absolutely gorgeous plates. They are brightly colored and feel hand-painted, even though they aren't. The same company offers cups and bowls that match. The only reason I removed one star is that these are almost a hybrid between plates and bowls. They curve up slightly at the edges, like a bowl, but have a broad, flat center, like a plate. This may not prove to be a problem for many or most -- I certainly am not sending mine back; they are too beautiful -- but potential buyers should be aware of this feature. ... show more

I absolutely love the pattern and quality; however, these are low sided bowls, not plates. I would love to have them produce actual plates in this pattern in both dinner and lunch size. I would buy actual plates immediately.
