Exactly how described. The fabric is soft and light filtering. Which is what I needed. They are not lined. The color change is pleasantly gradual from a cream to the teal/green. I hope the pictures show this. Also, I like the open rod pocket on each end giving me the flexibility to hang these either way. The tabs are on the cream end. In case it matters the tab/rod pocket end measures 4 inches wide and the teal end is 3 inches wide. Both widths give ample room for the biggest diameter curtain rod. I am pleased with this purchase and will consider buying other sizes for other windows ... show more

I was initially worried the ombre might be a bit harsh looking when it transitioned colors, but it is extremely subtle! I have the curtains set up with the darker color at the top and gradually getting lighter toward the bottom. Description says it can be hung both ways, this is true BUT- only on a cinch rod if you want dark to light, the rod pockets that allow for opening and closing ease are on the white part. I purchased these to add some character to my daughter's "all purple room" and they look beautiful. These are not "black out type" of curtains so if you are looking for something to block the light you should add some panels on the back.
