We got these curtains in order to create a space for sleeping when necessary during the daytime, in the room in our house with the most windows and light exposure. I can testify that these curtains block virtually 100% of light in most cases, with very little leakage when they're installed correctly. They're high quality, made of a moderatly thick velvet-like material, and the length takes them from the top of the windows and doorway all the way to the floor, really selling the concept of our home theater room. I love these curtains. The geometric print is subtle and the velvet is gorgeous. Gives my living room the pop of color I needed while providing darkness and keeping the heat in during winter.

These blackout curtains were of great quality, with a pretty subtle textured design. Unfortunately, I had to return them because the color did not match the other sea foam/teal colors I had in my bedroom. It was a bit darker than I wanted and didn't come in the color I needed.

Got 3 pairs of these for our living room, which is south facing and gets a TON of sun. They have been great for darkening the room when we want to watch a movie or tv show that is dark. Our living room stays slightly cooler when we keep these closed also! They are pretty heavy - I would recommend a very sturdy curtain rod, especially if you get as many as I have. I love how subtle the pattern is too, you can’t really notice it unless you’re sitting by them. ... show more

    • Be careful with yellow light, as it will add to the color and make this item look brown.
This color absorbs color. So, if you use yellow light... it looks a different color. To me it's a dirty brown color. Or tan... to me its dirt colored when yellow hits it. Covers about 45 percent of the light if used as a single panel and about 75 as a double panel. Get a darker color if you want black out or get the front panel a darker color. The blue and green in this is an amazing looking color. The five stars is due to price (probably cause of returns) the easy of application, the quality, and the subtle hints of pattern that I can detect. Wish they had more colors, like a dark red. ... show more

Not too heavy and absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! It is not completely black out but we use them for my sons room for lap time and it blocks the majority of light out. We got them on sale and wasn’t too bad. Expensive but worth it! Brings the whole room together! Update! It has been literally 2 years and i JUST noticed that 2 of my panels are different form the other 2 i bought in the same order. All the same color, but 2 have the long diamonds all the way across and the other 2 have a long diamond and then a line and then long diamond, line, all the way across. not sure what happened here but kind of odd... at least the color matches and its so undetectable that i only noticed it 2 years after the fact. ... show more

    • Beautiful Curtains Keep My Bedroom Cozy
I am VERY happy with these curtains. The color is rich and saturated with a nice embossed pattern. The curtains are thick enough to block light from the widows at night since I love a very dark sleeping area. When closed, they also help maintain my bedroom temperature. During the day I hook them over tiebacks to let the light in. They are easy and attractive. I would recommend these curtains to add style and functionality to your space. ... show more
