I got one blue 30x84 first and they were not wide enough. I sent it back for the 40x84 and got 2 panels for my window. First they are not silk and have a bit of a sheen. On the Amazon site, further in the description of the product, it does explain what material blend is used. The blue was close enough to the color on the site and went well with my color scheme. Each of the two 40x84 panels were made of one piece of cloth not two sewn together as some people have experienced. Both panels had lining and were new. I felt they were substantial in weight (not too lightweight or too heavy). The pinch pleats were sewn well as wasn't an inverted pleat disguised as a pinch/french pleat. I have a huge window in my nook/breakfast area that lets in a lot of light. I closed it during the day to test the blackout features and no light came through and no light during sunrise. It can be bright and if doors are not solidly closed, it creeps into the rooms. As an FYI, I got a curtain rod that curves around the side so that I can hang the curtain on the curve which blocks light from coming via the sides. For the price, I would buy again if it came in colors I needed. They were a little wrinkled but I will do the initial ironing and see how they hold up.

4 stars, only for colors being off. That being said, they are lovely curtains. I have bought 2 different neutral colors. First set were the color Ivory. They were more of a light beige or champagne color. The second set are named Linen. They are a tan color; or khaki. Still, pretty colors; just not what you may think. I am doing neutrals so I am happy with them. As I said, they are pretty, lined, pinch-pleated curtains that look a lot like real silk. Just know the colors are darker than you would think. I have not been able to "catch" the Cream color, as they have been unavailable. These are beautiful, quality, heavy lined panels. They hang beautifully. Of course they are quite wrinkled, but I am going to give them time to fall out naturally. If needed, I can borrow a hand held steamer to do that. I bought the Ivory; would describe them as medium beige, or sort of champagne. Not gold. These are more expensive than I have ever paid per panel. But worth it. They are totally room darkening...we have LED street lamps on the street in front of the bedroom window. NO light comes through. Will be buying more. BTW. there are a few different options for hanging. I am using the loops in the back, and I'm happy with how they look. Drapery hooks are included, if you choose to hang by curtain rings.

I have large windows across the back of my home. In the afternoon, my AC runs double time to keep up. Since hanging these blackout drapes the difference is remarkable. I had another brand of drapery panels from a popular warehouse store that were supposedly blackout until I hung these panels next to the old ones-it was literally like night and day! My AC bill is 2/3 LESS than last month. 110% pleased.

The draperies are beautiful and classic. If you like pinch pleat drapery and want to add class and elegance to your home, purchase these. I have custom drapery in my home, and I am shocked at the similarities. The only difference... my drapery has triple pleat and these are double pleat (Please make triple pleat). These are well lined with complete blackout lining. I wanted a change of look in my bedroom (from chocolate brown to sage) and these are the first drapes that have a custom look without the price. I plan on purchasing for my entire home.
