Was easy to install took my husband only a few seconds to install it in our 1997 Jeep Wrangler (TJ). My husband stated it seemed decent and well made. We haven’t tried it out yet to see if drinks will bounce out of it like others stated. We knew before buying it that taller cups and tumblers would not fit in it as we have grab handles right above the cup holder. Which was not an issue for us as we were just looking to add additional cup holders to our Jeep’s already existing two cup holders by the center console. Sometimes the two center cup holder’s aren’t enough for us and we need a third cup holder. As you can see the second picture shows the distance between our grab handles and a 16oz Water bottle. I don’t think any thing larger than a 16oz can or bottle will fit in the cup holder, due to our grab handles, which is fine with us because my husband usually has a water bottle and an energy drink can at the same time, so one of his drinks will fit in the cup holder while I use the center cup holders for my Tumblers. We were just looking for additional cup holders for in our Jeep so we’re pleased this provided another option for us. ... show more

Much needed item because cup holders are already lacking in a TJ. I did have to remove the dash speaker cover and speaker to get the retaining nuts back on to mount the holder…so heads up. It will block some airflow from that vent as well. It did vibrate pretty bad with and without the door. I cut some adhesive backed Velcro and put it on the inside part that faces the dash and then the opposite piece to the dash. Used a pretty decent sized piece and trimmed so it fit well and wasn’t noticeable. Now there is ZERO vibration doors on or off. ... show more

it’s ok that’s it. i wish it were a little deeper to hold onto your cup. it’s fine if your cup is almost the same diameter as the opening but anything smaller will bounce out or tip around causing spillage. i’ll find a good cup that’s about the same size and it’ll be my Jeep cup.

Cup holder fit as described and is very handy. Top plastic ring on cup holder came off and had to be glued back on so definitely room for improvement but overall would recommend
