I have two of them and they are squished together in the space that is 12+ inches wide. The baskets are 6” at the top corners, but the weave makes them bulge at the sides making them each slightly wider than 6”. Luckily they’re a bit pliable and I can bake them fit.

I LOVE these baskets, they are well made and quite lovely. My only issue is the dimensions… the width listed on the size medium says 8” which is approximate NOT exact. The shelf opening I needed these for is exactly 8 inches and because these are hand woven they are just slightly over 8” and therefore unusable for the purpose I purchased them for. So I’m returning the 2 size mediums that I purchased and going with the small size baskets, since they will fill the space I needed with a couple inches to spare. I was simply trying to maximize storage space with the mediums. But the smalls will be sufficient and I love the look of these so I’m sticking with this design. I would definitely recommend just keep in mind that if you are looking for an exact dimension that the sizing could be increased just slightly do to the material and braiding design on these. ... show more
