This is a decent cell phone holder for the price my only complaint is the cold shoes on the top and bottom of the holder do not really tighten well so what ever you mount there moves around.

    • Nice phone holder
Overall this is a nice smartphone holder, mostly made of good quality plastic (so it's not heavy). Tension of the phone clip seems good (not too strong), and the depth supports thick/bulkier phone case. Both cold shoe mounts are available for use when holding phone vertically (only one is useable when phone is horizontal). The major design flaw is with the tilt joint hinges, which are molded with smooth plastic. Even when the screw is tightened, the weight of phone plus accessories can easily cause the joint/angle to move, especially when using the mount with handgrip. I have to use coarse sand paper to sand the hinges to create some friction, so the phone mount won't slip. Would be better and more attractive if seller/manufacturer would have included a tripod base as a more complete package. ... show more
