I now have 2 of these, and it has been tested by a heavyweight without a problem. None of the other reviewers is kidding -- it is so easy and quick to assemble. Heavy-duty bolts screw into embedded brass fittings. There isn't a chance of wood splitting during assembly as you will see as a complaint in the comments on some of the other Adirondack chairs. Not only is there a cup holder that swings out from under the right arm, a wine glass holder swings out from under the left arm. The curve of the fanned back is perfectly comfortable as is the curve of the seat. I'm more than satisfied and I highly recommend it! ... show more

I absolutely love these chairs and I am glad that I bought them. They are advertised as oversized chairs that are able to hole up to 385 pounds. I believe it! They are super sturdy and very comfortable. I picked the black color and I am quite pleased. I really like that the arms are wide enough to set items on and that the back rest is tall enough to lean your head against it. When I was searching for chairs, I was looking for something made of a durable polywood type material with a drink holder. This chair has 2 drink holders--a regular drink holder and a wine drink holder. One chair arrived in perfect condition, but the second chair was not so lucky. After unboxing, I found that one of the wine holders had broken in half. I contacted customer service and after a few emails back and forth the matter was taken care of. I was sent a new wine holder and given a little discount. I am so happy with the chair and the whole experience that I have ordered a third chair and am contemplating getting a fourth chair. As far as assembling the chairs, it was a breeze. I did it myself in about 15 minutes. I will recommend that if you are buying more than 1 chair to order them individually if there is a coupon for the chair so you get the full coupon amount applied to each chair (more $$ saved). I mistakenly did not do this. Instead of the discount coupon being applied to each chair, it was applied to my total order. ... show more

This is a decent product. I love the design including the cup & wine glass holders. Overall the chair is pretty comfortable and I like the Adirondack chairs that have a curved design on the seat where your legs hit-like this one. There are only two drawbacks to note. The material, especially the slats on the seat, are not quite as sturdy as I would have thought. If you press on them, they do give a little. Maybe this flexibility is a good thing, design-wise, but I question how long this chair will last and if it will really hold the amount of weight as claimed. Also, the hardware (screws) are very cheap/poor quality. You cannot tighten the screws without stripping them out with the hex wrench. I’ll be buying new screws and replacing the ones that came with the chair. With that said, I am satisfied with the chair overall and am considering getting a 2nd one. ... show more

Super easy to assemble! Did all 4 chairs in about 30 minutes. The material feels like wood. We like that it has a bottle/cup holder as well as a stemmed glass holder!
