If you have always hated traditional bicycle seats, even the supposedly comfy cruiser seats and heavily sprung and wide English saddles, as I have, this is an order of magnitude improvement. I was part of the Boomer generation that bought into the stupidity of racing bikes and racing bike seats for street riding. DUMB! This new tractor-style seat will only make sense, if you ever drove an old 1950s tractor. It is just plain good for staying in all day. It is not perfect, but nothing is. I actually look forward to getting on my saddle now. I use it on a Velotric Packer 1 cargo ebike. It’s a match made bike heaven. It would not be suited to hard charging pedalling aimed for fitness riding, or racing. But if you are a casual cyclist, or a long term commuter that relies on pedal assist and throttle to get to the workplace non sweaty and quickly by a good bit of throttle, or if you are a grocery getter like me carrying 5-6 bags of groceries plus 2gallons of milk and 2 gallons of distilled water and ghost pedalling and thumb throttling as much as possible, this seat is almost perfect, when combined with my SR Suntour NCX suspension seat post. I slide a bit forward for serious peddling. I slide a bit back for coasting and throttling. I like the occasional shifting of position, same as I did on my Dad’s old International Harvester. The seat springs have little travel, so a suspension post is wise to get the full benefit of the wide saddle. I love this seat. It is a break through. A game changer. I wish my 40 years of riding had not been wasted on traditional, hemmorhoids waiting to happen bicycle seats, but better late than never. I’m buying another for my non electric bike soon. Every Tour de France champion deserves one of these as a retirement gift for having driven a pitching wedge up their kazoos for 15-20 years to achieve greatness. Ordinary bicyclists should stop immigrating racers and start getting comfy! ... show more

    • Fits Peloton but requires extra tool for installation.

Not a plug and play for Peloton. There are two allen headed bolts on top of the Peloton seat post. One has to be removed because the new seat bracket bolt interferes and keeps it from sliding on. This allen headed bolt is part of the safety and stability of the seat - it helps to keep it from rotating. Removing it is easy with an allen wrench from my collection. Reinserting it after the new seat is installed (for safety) requires manual dexterity and patience. This is not a show stopper but inconvenient. My wife sat on the seat and says it is cushy enough for her. I am a long time biker and I prefer the original peloton seat with an add on cushiony cover. ... show more
