This worked great! Could set up my Carplay display directly over my built-in car radio, making it look like a newer vehicle with the screen right where it normally would be - with the added safety benefit of not blocking any of my windshield by having the screen mounted on the dash. Also, it could be tightened enough that there was no shaking while driving or anything. But, it could still easily be rotated from side-to-side easily. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Used this to mount a Carpuride Carplay unit instead of replacing my old tech Pioneer head unit. It turned out great, putting the Carplay unit in the perfect position for access while driving. It has enough grip to hold the low profile 10.25x3.75 inch unit steady but I would be cautious about anything much heavier (3.28lbs). Very stable and can swing enough to be used by driver or passenger. It is also nice that it can be flipped to raise or lower the display to avoid dash control panels. I love it!

I have an older truck with CD player and no Bluetooth connection. The windshield suction mount would never stick so I was looking for alternatives. Was very happy when I found this CD slot mount. Works perfectly, easy to install and remove. Perfect placement for glancing and reaching my CarPlay screen.

Sometimes have to shut off on to make the map show up or connect audio properly. Still can make it be a split screen like the pictures feature. It just messes up and makes both run more poorly. Giving high stars for cd slot mount, it’s doing a great job. The audio cable plays static pretty bad if twisted wrong so buy a clarifier or you’re gonna get that awful scratchy white noise blasted at you when you go over bumps. With a few adjustments this would be epic. Haven’t installed the reverse cam yet so no comment on the visibility or anything yet.

Yes absolutely get one. It secures into the CD player slot so your portable screen is not blocking your view and it kinda looks OEM to be honest. Plus you can angle the screen with the adjustable arm. I have but been happier in fact I recommended this to a friend for his wife’s car and she loves it. It’s sturdy and keeps your screen securely in place no vibrations or wondering if it is going to fall off especially during the hot summer days no worries of a suction cup melting to the dash or your windshield. I actually took out my new radio/cd player and reinstalled the OEM original so that I could use this great mount. It is very sturdy and incredibly easy to set in. The ball joint fits my mounting device perfectly and adjustment is very simple. It put our reversing cam screen exactly when it should be and still doesn't block using the radio. Recommended!

I am really surprised at how well this works for the price. No glitches so far — knock on wood. One thing I will note: the little speaker on the device is pretty bad, so be sure to run the audio through the radio or via cable. I’m running the audio through the radio, which works great.
