I am 28 and bought this board to get back into skating after a 10 year gap. I was never very good before but was proficient enough to ride parks and do some very basic tricks. Very happy riding the board right out of the box. I would have loosened my trucks just a bit but my package was missing the skate tool #1(-). There is also a very large bubble under the grip tape on the nose #2(-). I ordered the Natural Wood but instead received a green-stained blank #3(-). Negative factors aside, the board is a great value and I was able to Ollie FIRST TRY after not skating for many years. I hope the seller will do right and mail me a skate tool with some swag. 4 stars for not receiving all the items as advertised (no CCS stickers, Daddies sticker instead, no skate tool, bubbled grip wrong color deck) Just received a second package from Daddies with the missing items and the correct color deck. ABOVE AND BEYOND at addressing my issue. 5 star service and quality product. Thank you!

This board is a great value; quality deck, wheels & trucks. There are better wheels and trucks available on Amazon or a skate shop, if you want to pay a “buttload” of money, but the hardware on this board is more than sufficient for skating around, couple kicks here and there. I priced a similar setup at a local skate shop and the cost would have been about $20-$30 more, plus this one came with a skate tool. The deck is plain, no graphics but who cares, that’s what stickers are for. I had a slight issue with the deck, not with quality or damage, contacted the seller & they replied next day, they went above and beyond the usual customer service and rectified the situation within 2 days. I will absolutely buy from ‘Daddies’ again.

The skateboard was really nice and felt sturdy. The person who it was for fell in love with it. The only downside was no tools available and the only option was to return the board when we inquired about it through customer service in the Phillipines. They refused to transfer me to a call center in the USA. So because there is no way to reach the seller on Amazon it just made the whole purchasing experience not as pleasant. However the board runs smoothly and pretty good for beginners.

Wanted to get him off his phone and outside doing something challenging. Did not want to get him a cheap toy to start and ruin all chances of developing an appreciation for and some skill in the sport. Neither did I want to spend mega bucks for a top of the line board on a newbie boarder. I got exactly what I wanted from this company through amazon. Intermediate grade wheels, bearings, trucks, deck sized right for a 100 pound boy. No obnoxious artwork underside - if he wants it, he can paint it on himself. Delivered well in time for Christmas. He unwrapped it and the first one on it tearing around the house was the boy's Daddy. Maybe next time Daddy will wear a helmet, eh? LMAO. After the batteries ran out on this year's Remote Controlled vehicle / Christmas gift, The Boy started tooling around the house learning about balance, turning, control, speed, and how to wreck Momma's kitchen cabinets. They (Mommy and Daddy) looked up the location of the nearest skate park and ordered The Boy some kneepads, elbow pads, and re-introduced him to his helmet. All in all, a perfect day for the Subversive Uncle, and a shot at some outdoor freedom for the Boy. Perfect, guys.

I'm a tall, heavy, old dude who is just learning to skate. I opted for the 8.5 because of my size 12 feet, and I feel pretty comfortable with that. Unfortunately, the bushings were too squishy for my Shrek-like body, so I had to really tighten the trucks until I could replace them. With a few inexpensive upgrades (bigger wheels, super stiff bushings, and a riser w/ longer hardware), it feels a lot more stable under my bulky frame. The grip tape was perfect with no air bubbles. The deck feels sturdy, and I'm really happy with my purchase. Bonus points that it arrived way quicker than they promised.

Bought the 7.75” as a gift for my 9 yr old son who asked for one as a birthday gift. He had been learning on his friends’ skateboards and was excited to have his own. He’s been riding this board for about three weeks now and has nothing but good things to say about it. It was well assembled, rides smooth, seems sturdy and has good grip tape. The tool that came with was a nice bonus.

Will update if any issues with the board, but so far (one day) kid loves it. smooth and strong feel. nice looking board. i swear half the appeal was that they could paint any design they wanted on the maple bottom. but anyway, it feels sturdy and looks nice. kid is new to skate boarding.

My son purchased this skateboard with his birthday money and was super excited. When he received it there were about 4 air bubbles (1 was large...maybe about 3 inches in diameter) under the grip tape. I came on Amazon and read reviews and I see some others have had the same issue. My son didn't want to return it because that would be a bummer to not have his board, so we did what others did. We poked a couple of holes and slit the bubble and it laid down again. I am worried that doing that is going to now cause other issues, but it worked for now. Other than that, the board is nice and my 11-year-old is happy.
