got this set to replace the wires on an older budget snare. Now my snare sounds tight and punchy again! Great deal for under $10.

    • DO NOT GET THIS! THE STRAPS STRETCH!
The snares are good but the material the the straps are made of will STRETCH like thick elastic! This is the worst thing that you want when you want the snares tight. You can actually stretch them by pulling them with your hands. This means that they will stretch more in time from using them. I kept them but I had to go to the music store and get the white or clear nylon straps that are usually used and they were too wide to fit in the slots at each end. I had to cut the edges down the entire length of the straps to get them to fit in the slots. DO NOT GET THESE unless you want to go through this process. This was not a standard size snare for a snare drum. Returned it.

    • Built incorrectly
The snares do not lay flat on the head surface. The snares were welded to the incorrect side. Totally useless.
