If you are looking for a cheap winter boot this can be it. It has a decent price and good quality. The material does a good job on keeping the moisture and water out, keeping your feet dry if you step on the snow. They fit well with a thick sock, and do a modest work on keeping your feet warm. At temperatures around -4 to +4 C, and using thick socks it will do its job. If you have a harsher winter I don’t think this boots will keep you warm. In the first use you will feel them a bit tough and uncomfortable. However, after a couple of days they will soften and become comfortable to use. All in all, good price/quality ratio for a waterproof boot that will keep your feet warm in a mild/moderate snowy environment.

First off, I'm a woman who has discovered that men's shoes are sometimes better quality, plus they fit my wide feet and high instep much better than women's styles. I have a sloped driveway to shovel in an area that gets quite a bit of snow in the winter. But a light snow makes my studded boots overkill, clomping around to clear 2-3 inches. Sneakers would do, but they slide a little and my feet can get wet and cold. Thus, the search that led to these boots. They are comfortable! There's a good tread pattern leading to very little slippage. I can't vouch for the waterproof level if you step ankle deep into water, but they keep my feet dry in slush and snow. They are so comfortable! I was hosting a holiday party on a mildly snowy day, so I was shoveling, salting walkways, I was up and down ladders to finish holiday lighting, plus wrapping, cooking and vacuuming throughout the day. I forgot I was wearing my "boots" until mid-party. That was the moment I decided these are the greatest footwear possible for jobs inside and out, up and down, form and function. You can forget about them on a day like that because they meet all the needs. After a dozen times wearing them, I REALLY love these boots!

So far, a decent boot. I think it looks good and it’s waterproof. Currently wearing to work in a warehouse-type environment, and out in the woods playing disc golf. Added softer insoles, as the standard cushioning was way too hard for walking on concrete everyday. But they are warm and for the price, adding softer insoles is still a great value.
