This nifty backpack seems to be pretty practical and has more room than meets the eye at first! My 15lbs cat fits inside perfectly and seems to be very comfortable in it! I love the mesh air pockets on either side of the pack and the zippers have a clip on them so you can clip the zippers together! Theres also a couple of pockets on them so you can store catitems and a small clip and a strap on the inside to hook into your cats collar. The material seems very durable. I love it, perfect size and excellent quality, the white/black is 1 lb kitten and the grey one is 3 lbs 3 months old, it gives you a idea of the size, it should fits 7/8 lbs cat no problem , I’m not sure it’s strong enough to hold any 12-15 lbs cat. I really love the design and quality, I’m using to carry kittens around so the size is perfect and it has 2 pockets to put some supplies, my kittens love it too! ... show more

I got this because I saw news footage of families literally overlanding with what was left of their homes during the NC hurricane aftermath.. trying to carry their animals along with them. I worried if we ever had to evac we wouldn't be able to take our cats.. so I grabbed this with the idea that we could at least carry them more easily than a traditional carrier. Took the difficult to get into the regular carrier cat to the vet yesterday in it.. BOY was it EASY to get her in.. plenty of space at the bottom for her to hide her face without being faced with the world.. but the bubble window was great for her when she did want to look. I have another one that is bubble on all sides and it's awful for her she can't hide at all. THIS was perfect.. Vet approved and said it's a really great idea. :) My cat is 12 lbs and had plenty of room to adjust herself. ... show more

Good products so far I've only had a short while, but only problem was the strong bad smell of ash I didn't like so I let it air out in the garage a few days and spayed with Febreze fabric freshener which helped eliminate the smell a lot.

Besides the intense chemical smell (even my cat did not approve) this was too small for our 14lb cat, without expanding the mesh part. Some of the zippers were not well made. The overall design gets 5 stars however. Well thought out and collapsible for travel is excellent. The materials seemed sturdy enough with a removable reinforced base (nice for stability and washing). I returned the item due to the smell. (Note: I am sensitive to chemicals). ... show more
