This blush is not super pigmented but that actually makes it much easier to use! I have been having an issue with OTHER blushes where it is hard not to apply way to much. In contrast with this catrice blush I needed to dip my brush back in 3 times to build it up to what you see in the picture! And that is honestly so much easier- to be able to slowly build up the color to your desired intensity. Note- I am also wearing a bit of bronzer under my cheekbone in the picture so the blush color is accurate on the apples of my cheeks but further back it is blended into my bronzer. I am wearing the lychee lush shade: it is a soft peach color on me. I have cool olive skin so a lot of things go orange on me and I was a little worried this would too but i think it is not too orange and is a flattering peach color instead! In my picture of the pan it looks more pink but the picture on my cheek is more accurate color-wise. I really like that this blush is talc free! It is maybe a teeny tiny bit harder to blend than talc-containing products but as you can see in my picture it does blend well just takes maybe 15 extra seconds of work.

This cinnamon sugar 030 is a stunning warm color. Very terra cotta warm, featuring a peachy red undertone. With a soft sheerness of gentle persimmon. This is a deeper vibrant color that looks as if you’ve been kissed by the sun during a mediterranean adventure. A gorgeous radiance of a warm sunset on the coast. The finish with this formula is a blur effect. Smoothing over the skin you can intensify the color or blend for a softer look. Stunning blush that works gloriously for mature to young skin types. Comes in a flat compact style, with a clear top. Easy to open with a wide lid, allows for use with any size brush. My daughter featured a full face of the new soft blur & matte airbrushed products, with a gorgeous flawless finish. I also wore this incredible blush on my mature skin, wearing far less makeup & had an absolutely lovely soft effect. This doesn’t settle into fine lines. No patches or cakiness. Glides on smoothly. Most importantly did not emphasize pores or imperfections either. We both apply blush differently (as with the times, differences in application & variations we each want to wear blush) however wherever applied this looks gorgeous. Not excessively powdery, blends both intensively & with a blended out softer look. I was concerned initially that I would require a setting spray (based off the swatch testing), however absolutely not needed. Truly a beautiful blush, with your choice of impact or softness. We both absolutely love this blush formula. Highly rated for both young & mature!

I recently tried the Catrice Soft Blur Powder Blush in the shade Berry Me Later!, and I’m genuinely impressed. This velvety matte powder blush has buildable coverage, and I completely agree with that description. On the first swipe, it gave me the most gorgeous, natural cool-toned red berry flush. The formula feels light, silky, and incredibly smooth. The initial layer was a soft wash of color, but the second swipe noticeably increased the payoff. I love blushes like this—the kind you can build from subtle to more defined without looking heavy or cakey. I personally swirl my brush into the pan two or three times (like I do with my longtime holy grail blush) to get the depth I enjoy, since I like my blush to show. Not everyone will need that much, which really speaks to how customizable the formula is. The shade itself is beautiful. It’s a cool-toned berry, almost wine-like, yet still very natural. It was the only cool-toned option I saw in the collection, and for me that’s perfect. I have fair, cool-toned olive skin, which can be difficult to match. Pinks, terracottas, corals, and nudes tend to pull very orange on me, so I almost always gravitate toward mauves and berries. I wouldn’t say it is the most cool toned— maybe cool leaning neutral. But this one absolutely delivered. When I first swatched it on my hand, it looked just the slightest bit patchy. However, once I applied it properly with a brush over my BB cream and setting powder, it blended like a dream. The finely milled powder feels featherlight on the skin and gives a soft matte finish that subtly blurs imperfections. And there was no noticeable (maybe just very little) fallout when I applied it. While it doesn’t have the slight satin sheen of my longtime favorite blush, it creates a beautiful soft-focus effect that looks fresh and natural. I also really appreciate that it’s fragrance-free, paraben-free, and alcohol-free. It’s vegan and cruelty-free, certified by PETA, which makes me feel even better about using it. I’d like to mention how carefully it was packaged in bubble wrap and arrived to me in one piece no breakage. For $8.00, this is an absolute steal. While it may not outperform the most luxury high-end formulas, I’d confidently say it rivals many more expensive drugstore and even some mid- to high-end blushes. This might actually be my very first Catrice product—even though I’ve been watching tutorials and eyeing the brand for years. I can’t believe I waited this long to try it, but if this blush is any indication, I’m really impressed and definitely interested in trying more from the brand. **(I added photos of the blush in different lights. It is important to know the first two photos show it in bright light, and it looks more cool purple toned in these photos. However this is not realistic— it is definitely better represented in the 3rd, 4th and 5th photos as it does lean more red).

This Catrice blush in the born to blonze color is so beautiful! The velvety matte finish looks so natural and pretty on the cheeks giving me that fresh just pinched glow without any shimmer or shine. I love how lightweight the formula is. It feels almost weightless on my skin and blends like a dream with either my fingers or a brush. I can start with a soft touch for a subtle everyday look or layer it up for more intensity when I want to stand out a little. It stays in place all day without fading or looking patchy which makes it perfect for busy days when I do not have time for touch ups. What I enjoy most is the soft blurring effect. It gently smooths the appearance of my skin and gives my cheeks a healthy flushed look that feels fresh and youthful. The powder applies evenly and never emphasizes texture or pores which is a big win for me. The packaging is compact and easy to carry in my bag and the blush performs consistently every time I use it. For the quality and how well it works this has become my go to blush. If you are searching for a lightweight powder blush with a beautiful matte finish that is easy to blend and build this Catrice Soft Blur is an absolute winner. It has made my daily makeup feel more effortless and flattering.
