I'm a huge fan of lip color, but glosses are tricky for me because a little shine is good but I hate that plastic-y, shellacked look a lot of glosses have. This product struck the perfect balance for me. The gloss goes on easily -- just a little bit goes a long way. It blends easily and didn't feel greasy or goopy at all. The color is pretty and the gloss gave some shine without looking like too much. It did fade over time, of course, but a tint of color remained even after the gloss was gone, so it seemed longer lasting than some similar products I've used. (I've included pictures of my naked lips, with freshly applied balm, and then my unretouched lips after a few hours, but no eating. These were all taken in pretty much the same light.) My one minor complaint is the applicator. I'd prefer a stick or doefoot over the squeeze tube, but I seem to be in the minority on that. Overall, this is a great product just like other items I've tried from this brand -- it's a great value at this price compared to some much more expensive brands that work the same or worse. And you seem to get a good amount of product -- I suspect this will last me several months with daily use. Highly recommend.

This is such an easy everyday lip product. It has that nice in-between feel where it’s more hydrating than a gloss but still gives a really pretty shine. The texture is smooth and comfortable, not sticky at all. It glides on easily and feels lightweight, but still gives enough moisture that my lips don’t feel dry after wearing it. It’s one of those products you can throw on without even thinking about it. The shade Life In Rosé adds a soft, natural tint that just enhances your lips rather than covering them. It’s buildable, but still keeps that fresh, effortless look even with a few layers. I also like that it has ingredients like peptides and vitamin E because it actually feels like it’s doing something for your lips while you wear it, not just sitting on top. Overall, this is a great everyday balm-gloss hybrid if you want something simple, comfortable, and a little more polished than a basic lip balm.

This definitely lives up to the claims of being a glossy lip balm! This is incredibly juicy-looking and shiny on the lips. It has a fairly thin formula (I actually wish that it was a lot thicker) which unfortunately means that it doesn't last very long but it also isn't sticky or stringy. I don't detect any taste or fragrance, which I know that a lot of people will appreciate. The balm comes in a soft matte squishy tube that's very easy to squeeze and I love the large, slightly curved plastic applicator. It's a nice balm. It's not my absolute favorite lip balm but it's a good, affordable option and I think that a lot of people will like it.

Catrice is such a reliable brand. Every brand has come out with their own version of a certain luxury brand 's own peptide lip balm. The problem is that many of them are subpar and don't even bother with the peptides. I picked out the pink shade, because I love a good classic bubblegum pink. The applicator itself is amazing. It is clear plastic and is made in a shape that makes it easy to apply. The color is a great cool toned pink, there is no scent, and the formula is not sticky at all. Though the shade range is limited to the basics like a pink, a mauve, a red, a brownish nude and a darker brown, I love it so much, I have already ordered the mauve shade. It is truly a very elegant formula. The only negative I can find is that it definitely has a smaller amount than similar drugstore brands but it does cost a teeny bit kis

Not sure there is anything special about this product at all. The color isn’t especially noticeable, the formulation isn’t especially hydrating, the shine isn’t especially long-lasting. Whether it has peptides and they have long-term effects on lip health, I have no idea. But after wearing this for a few days I have to say… meh. I have dozens and dozens of lip glosses, lip stains, lip sticks, lip balms, etc and this one just isn’t memorable. Right now it’s sitting on my nightstand and it’s been relegated to the place of swiping on before bed if my lips feel dry before I go to sleep. In other words, it’s fine. But just not anything I’d be sad if I lost or go out and repurchase.

My review is for the Catrice Peptide Bliss Glossy Lip Balm. This is a nice medium coverage (buildable) lip balm. It has a glossy finish and it somewhat thick, without feeling tacky or sticky. It also adds a nice bit of color. I initially felt a slight tingly sensation when I first applied to my lips, but that quickly subsided. The wide slanted applicator glides the balm smoothly across the lips. It has some staying power as it lasted while drinking several beverages throughout the day. Re-application is needed after meals. I also really like the company Catrice and use several of their products as they are vegan and cruelty free, and formulated without parabens, preservatives or microplastics. A really nice balm from a nice, clean line.

I love the color of this lip balm. It’s a light dusty muted pink that’s on the sheer side but still provides noticeable color on my lips. It gives a beautiful shine, feels cushiony on the lips, isn’t too thick, and isn’t sticky. The gloss is hydrating and my lips look better with this gloss applied. My lips look plump without the gloss having any stinging or minty feeling. It lasts on my lips for a couple hours before I feel the need to reapply. The applicator is a hard plastic that flares out. It’s not my favorite applicator, but it still works fine. It has a sweet candy scent and there’s no shimmer that I can see. This is such a nice gloss, and I’m interested in purchasing another color.
