I was honestly worried I would get the wrong shade as I had never used this product before and switched from Clio Linen (#3) which was slightly too light for me. Thankfully the match is flawless. It’s so perfect I can’t always tell I have any on my face until the end where you can see the overall difference. The coverage is buildable and the make-up light weight. I highly recommend this product. I think I like it even more than Clio as it lasts all day and doesn’t really need to be blotted or reapplied half way through the day. It’s just a bonus that it’s slightly cheaper too. Overall this is a great cushion foundation, is easy to apply, and the perfect color for my skin tone (I’m on the pale side but have pink undertones). Will definitely buy this again, but hopefully not for a while since it comes with a refill! Yay!

I’m in love. First the packaging alone is worth the money because it’s easily refillable! The coverage is gorgeous, i can’t even feel it on my face. However I will say that although the coverage is buildable it isn’t thick and is meant for just a layer or two on your skin to even you out and make you look like a glowing goddess. If you’re looking for something that works like a liquid foundation or concealer this likely isn’t for you. I don’t really wear much makeup and use a different concealer for my horrible genetics that cause huge black spots under my eyes if I’m going out, but for daily wear this cushion works beautifully!!! As you can see in the photos it doesn’t completely cover up freckles, which is not something I want, but it evens out skin tone and actually perfectly matches my skin. When I add more layers to build it up it does get darker, so I imagine you could go lighter with this and still be totally fine. (I’m going to buy the lighter one to use for areas I want to build up on if I’m going out like my under eyes). Highly recommended.

It was difficult for me to find info on this ingredient-wise and just swatch-wise and because there are no real swatches on the skin in the description, I was a little hesitant to buy it because it looked so light. I normally find the Korean shade 23 just right, if not a little too light sometimes but this one I purchased (C01 Natural) seemed fairly similar to shade 23, maybe even a little darker than I anticipated. I have south East Asian skin btw- kinda yellow tone. the coverage on this is somewhere between light and medium. It doesn't cover acne redness but it evens out my general skin tone. Over acne, it struggles but mostly because it is not full coverage. It's not matte, more satin and leaves a healthy slight "glow" behind. I have a couple dry patches on my face and they're a little clingy looking with this on, so this wouldn't be suitable for very dry skin. It's better for normal/combination skin. Its a Chinese brand. China recently lifted its animal testing policies but this company (Catkin) has been around for a few years so.... *thinking emoji.* Anyways, theres no mention of SPF so make sure you put sunscreen on before this if you want that coverage. It comes with a refill. The image with my arm is just one small layer, patted directly from the sponge to the cushion to my arm. After using it for several days, I have noticed that it stays on fairly well for at least 8 hours before needing to be reapplied. TLDR: C01 Natural is similar to Korean shade 23, not for dry skin or to cover acne, makes a satin healthy looking finish, no sun protection

I purchased the C01 - which is the "darker" shade, and it is pretty light - I have light/medium skin and this was a good match for me as it is also pretty neutral (neither warm nor cool) This is a brightening compact so it does brighten my skin a bit, but not a lot, just enough so I look more "fresh". It doesn't have a dewy finish, but a nice semi-matte finish & its coverage is a bit more than sheer but not full coverage - it is buildable. It doesn't feel greasy or heavy on my skin and the compact is to die for. This comes in a beautiful presentation box with the lovely phoenix & floral design. The set not only has the textured design of the bird & flowers, but even the refill's packaging AND the puff have the same design. This is truly a well made compact and the product is also first rate. I am a huge fan of Catkin products!

The container this foundation comes in is absolutely beautiful and looks great on a vanity. However, the product itself has barely any coverage. It feels almost like putting on a light lotion rather than makeup. Because it does not provide the coverage expected from a foundation, I probably would not recommend it.

Absolutely love this. Light weight. Easy to use. Quick. Colors are a little on the light side compared to those presented online. Get a shade darker than you think will work. I will be wearing this for a long time. Compact is great. Sponge puff is good. Wears well. Can’t even feel it on your skin. I have dry skin with some oil on my nose and it works well with good skin care so I would say all skin types.

I bought this on a whim to try it due to the good reviews. I have very sensitive skin & saw this had no fragrance or SPF (I'm highly allergic to both), so I figured I was good to go. No lie, I had this on for about 5 hrs. & my entire forehead was red & full of tiny bumps! It's been about a week now & my skin is still suffering (I have about 6 welt-like bumps that I'm trying to heal). Whatever ingredients are in this stuff obviously DO NOT agree with my skin. Last time I had a reaction this bad, it was RCMA & Juvia's Place foundation. My bad for not patch testing it first, but I assumed it would be ok. The consistency of it is very light & it is a med. coverage at best if built up. It is like a powder cream formula-you can feel it's "wet" when applying with the sponge. Looks nice on though-but not sure if it actually lasts, especially if it's hot outside. It did transfer to my facemask, so those claims are false. The packaging is obviously beautiful & the price is great. I wish it worked for me, but had to return it immediately. :('

Lightweight buildable foundation. Love the feeling when I put it on, not heavy and I can build it up if I need more, or layer with concealer. Blends perfectly and coverage lasts all day. Packaging is stunning and comes with a refill. One container lasted a little over a month if used daily. Highly recommend trying. Did not cause any breakouts or issues for my sensitive skin.
