Tl;dr these are the best AirPod cases on the market, don't second guess anything This is my second Catalyst case for my second set of AirPods and let me tell you... I will NEVER buy another type. These are strong, stylish, keep out all the gunk, and best of all give me 100% peace of mind that my expensive earbuds aren't going to fly out. I'm someone who can be a little rough and/or clumsy with my belongings so I will spend money for a good case, and this fits the bill. I've had other cases from other brands who do iPhone cases marvelously, but have found they can't make an AirPod case that will stay closed, let alone protect the product, for peanuts. Folding down the flaps takes a little practice, and is admittedly a little harder on the Pro model than I found the previous, but that's true without any case at all and it also means it won't open on accident! I've seen others complain it's hard to get the charging case out of the silicone but again, that's a good thing, and how often are you going to remove it anyway? I have no idea how some have had the carabiner part rip-I keep mine on my keys and my old model hasn't even stretched in almost two years. I've never dropped either case in water but I can't see how it would let anything in. There's a tiny gap between the part that folds down and the case, but the major seal comes from the sides being cling-wrap tight. Sure, the silicone picks up a little bit more lint/dirt compared to a hard case, but it's not hard to wipe off. A perk of this over my AirPods 2 case is that when it sits on a charging pad, the carabiner stays out of the way and doesn't interfere with the pad, so I no longer have to take it off. MAJOR upgrade there! All the buttons/ports/lights line up perfectly, which wasn't *quite* the case with the last one so I'm very happy there too! The extra few bucks for the "premium" version I don't find does anything special but it does add a little design flair. That's worth it for me, but if you couldn't care less, save a few bucks and go for the regular case-you'll get the exact same function!

Fits well, easy access, keeps lid closed thereby protecting AirPods from falling out. Solid construction with safe and secure feel. Definitely not flimsy like others I have tried. I would not go as far as to say the are waterproof. Water resistant, yes. IMO, You couldn’t submerge it for any length of time but a splash, rain or maybe a quick plunge seems would be safe. I would strongly recommend.

I like this cover because it completely encases the AirPod case with a very durable material. There is no chance of it falling off, and the cover is water proof if that need ever arises. It does take me two hands to peel back the cover to access the earbuds, but it is not a problem. The pairing button and the charge light are functional through the cover, as is the contactless charging capability. I just wish there was a greater color selection.

I have had several AirPod cases over the years and none can compare to this one. It fits so well on the case and cannot be opened by accident. The design is perfect. The case is durable easy to clean easy to install and just does a great job of protecting your AirPods. You can see the light through the case and it also comes with a little carabiner so you can hang it on your backpack. This is such a well-thought-out product-kudos.

Case fits snug. No movement on the inside (at first), material seemed to loosen over short amount of time. Seems to loosen lid on the charging case which isn’t good. Probably due to the assistance the case needs to open/close. Not sure how it’s waterproof when the top is completely open and there is movement over time. Overall the case will do its job from hard drops and the whole case is one piece allowing for the charging case to stay closed in the event of a fall and you don’t have to worry about losing an AirPod!

It took a little getting used to the design since it is all one piece, however, it is great having the confidence in knowing that it is a single piece and that it hold the airpods securely in place due to this. Definitely recommend this product.

I decided to write a review because when I was buying this, there were many bad ones, with people complaining about it being waterproof. I like that it protects the entire case, and I wouldn’t go swimming with it, but if I spilled water on it, the AirPods would be ok. It is a little pricey, but most AirPod pro cases are not suitable as this is the best one if had so far.
