We were pleasantly surprised with these little toys. It is rare for something to function as well as described, but these do. My kids (and myself) have had a lot of fun playing with them in our pool. I had been looking for an interesting non-diving toy for my youngest who doesn't swim underwater yet. These are different from anything else we have found, and were an instant favorite. I witheld the final star on durability simply because we have not had them for long and I don't know how well they will last. They have held up to a week of pool play so far. Edit: these fun toys lasted about 5 weeks. The hard plastic wings all became brittle and broke on both toys on the same day. Even with th lasting less time than we would like, I was ready to repurchase because of how much my kids enjoyed them. However, we stumbled upon them in our local Dollar Tree store and we're able to purchase them for $1 each rather than the higher price here. The dollar store toys are slightly larger and the wings are attached in two places instead of one, making them seem a bit more durable. I still recommend these, but perhaps you might want to shop around to see if you can find a better price. ... show more

    • Not waht I expected BUT Kids Still Love Them
These fish gliders are made very cheaply and I could se them being sold at the dollar store. The body is Styrofoam like material and the fin is a thin plastic. HOWEVER, my 10 and 11 year old boys had a great time gliding them under the water and following them around. Literally entertained them for an afternoon in the pool. Although, disappointed in the quality of the material, I WOULD BUY AGAIN. Also, we all had no problems getting them to glide in about a 12' circle as well as in a straight line even further. Just place it under your foot at the bottom of the pool and release. It's that simple. Adjust the fin ever so slightly to make it circle or go straight. Don't know why some reviews say they are difficult to make go. ... show more

They are fun when you first get them. You just put it under water and away they go. The wings can be adjusted to make it turn in a circle or come back to you which the kids loved. But, sadly by turning the wings, the wings got bent. They barely stay under the water now. So, lasted about 30 minutes. A little pricey for that type of durability and amount of time the kids got to play with it. I guess that means I don’t recommend them. Sorry! Fun idea but waste of money. ... show more

Easy to use. Great quality product, colors are bright to see in a pool. Obviously water resistant. The further down it is placed the farther it goes. Approved for all ages!

    • I would not buy them again
These are okay pool toys but I don't think they are worth the money. They are supposed to have adjustable fins but one of ours was clearly broken and didn't adjust. Even the one that does adjust doesn't seem to do much. They just sort of slowly float away from you and don't go very far.

These are so cute and fun for our kids to use at the pool! My 4 year old especially loves these! He had no problem figure out how to make them glide in the water and they are a great size for his small hands but also easy for adults to use as well. We really enjoy these!
