Think thing is fantastic! I bought it for the kids (6 & 8) to play with in a pool while on vacation. It was a resort pool and every kid in the pool, and most of the adults, were mesmerized. Launch it from the bottom of the pool (you can push it down with your foot if you want) and it goes surprisingly far. The adults thought it was battery operated until they inspected it. It's not cheap but it feels well-constructed and easily worth the fun factor. Kids enjoyed it way more than all the "static" toys that just sink to the bottom or float on the surface. ... show more

I got the large underwater glider Sting Ray this week and have used it for two days and have three reactions. First, the packaging was extremely dirty and after opening, the actually stingray had fading paint and look used (it was not, it was sealed). Next, I could barely adjust the fins and the fins were super thin plastic so I was afraid of applying to much pressure and cracking them. Lastly, this was pretty cool and fun and worked great. I can't tell any difference from the fin adjustment, it just swims for 20-30 feet and makes it way to the top, whether climbing the side of the pool or shooting straight up. It works great underwater, is fun, and not difficult to use. Sometimes it just doesn't want to go the way you want it to or direction, so just turn around and it will work fine. My only complaint is it does seem a little pricey for the quality of the materials - this could easily be a $5 product especially since my was dirty and faded, but it works as advertised, is a lot of fun, and if you have a lot of kids i'm sure they will fight over who gets to use it first or chase after it to catch it first. ... show more

It looked interesting, so I bought one.And it's the most amazing watertoy i've ever seen !!. The ad doesn't explain exactly what this thing does, It somehow converts its buoyancy into forward thrust. It will go probably thirty feet in the water by just holding it down with your foot and letting it go. It works so well.You would think it has a motor propelling it. I'm going to buy a couple more and give them away as gifts.They are very reasonably priced. ... show more

They do glide, they probably do go 40 feet, but in a circular motion. I have adjusted the wings in all directions and there's little change, it still wants to do the circular motion. Sometimes I turn it upside down and it goes straighter a little bit more. As far as a boomerang, it makes it circular motion you grab it I guess that's a boomerang, but it still making a circular motion otherwise. Would I buy it again? They're inexpensive, they're somewhat entertaining. I just wish it would've done more of what I read. Yes, there's a good chance I would because, inexpensive. ... show more

This is an amazing product for kids to play with in the pool. My son typically doesn't enjoy swimming, but with this toy, he has so much fun in the water. The toy can really "swim" a great distance, and the jump at the end adds an exciting element to playtime. The quality is excellent, and it's much bigger than I expected, which is a great bonus. I have bought several of these and enjoyed playing in the pool with them. They normally would come blister packaged with a cardboard backing. This one came in a zip lock baggie. The wings are just out of shape enough to not allow it to work properly! Only will go in small circles no matter how you get to adjust it. Sad, because they are a lot of fun, when they are not damaged. Afraid to order another and get another dud... ... show more

    • Fun pool toy for adults as well as kids!
This flying aqua toy is really a lot of fun. Period. What we do is we put our foot on it and push it to the floor of the pool and then we kind of slide it forward and let it go and it can go clear across the pool. it’s really a fun little thing really it doesn’t get boring cause we have competition with it.
