The main reason for buying this was to improve visibility at night. The glow in the dark feature definitely helps with this, and as someone who has extremely blurry vision without glasses, I appreciate this feature. The case seems very sturdy, and over the course of ~3 months since purchasing it, I have dropped my phone a few times without damage to either the case, or the phone. It's not at the level of an Otterbox Defender, but it's also not as thick as an abridged version of War and Peace. The case is convenient and slides in and out of pockets with ease. There are holes on all four corners of the case which allow for a basic camera strap (the strap comes with the case) to be added for ease of carrying. This is not something that I would typically use, but when I go hiking, I can see using it on a clip to ensure I do not lose the phone. Charging on a magnetic style charger is also doable. It takes a little finesse, but it works. I am not sure if the charge rate is impeded by the case or not, but the charge rate does take a bit. When I set it on the charge pad at night, it's fully charged by morning though, so that works for my needs. The only negative is that it's a little slick; however, there is some texture on the green edge that aids with grip. It's not enough of an issue though for me to not enjoy this purchase. So would I buy this case again? Yep. I actually get compliments on this case for its uniqueness, and although it's bright green in color, it's not garish. The case is a quality product. Update: The round knob for the silence button broke off within a year of owning the case. I love the case, but it would go down to four stars because of this. ... show more

I upgraded my phone and needed a new case. I tend to drop my phone quite often, plus the new Pro Max seemed extra slippery and fell a lot, while not cased, just sitting on cloth surfaces. My old phone case had a strap on the back and i LOVED it because sometimes it wont fit in my pocket or I don't have pockets, or i don't want to have to keep getting it out, etc.. So when I came across this case I was super excited! It comes with a wrist strap that you can add to any corner of the case so lots of different options on where to put it. The strap does adjust so you can tighten it to make sure it won't slip off your wrist. I like how even though the case is frosted I can still see the blue color of the phone. I also really like that the mute, volume, and power buttons are covered, that way I don't have to worry about dirt and grime getting down in the little holes. It doesn't have a screen protector which I don't mind. I also don't have a mag charger yet, so I am not sure how well it works with one, but it says its compatible. Oh and the sound is just as clear when playing music or on speaker phone with the case on as it is without it. All of this for 40 bucks it most definitely worth it! I’m very happy with this phone case; it’s well-made it fits well and I like the fact that I can use the little holes in the edge to attach a tether. Phones don’t always fit in the pocket. Phones are expensive. It’s nice to have a way to keep the phone from getting lost. I think it does a reasonably good job of protecting the phone. I haven’t dropped it off balcony so I can’t vouch for it being the most durable protective case in the world. But being able to attach it to my bags or to myself keeps me from dropping it over a balcony! ... show more

Excellent case overall, very comfortable to use and hold, love the rotary silence switch. Only issue is that it is borderline scary to take off to where im afraid I’m going to bend my phone. I would recommend it, but if you put it on make sure you know it’s gonna be there for a while.

    • Not as grippy as the impact cases

I should have given it 1 star cause that’s how disappointed I was but overall it’s still a decent case even though it’s nowhere near what the impact was for iPhone 11. They got rid of the clear back that was solid and provided great grip along with its grippy sides and traded it in for an influence that is like holding a wet bar of soap and the slippery frosted back is more bendable than the clear back so that won’t be good for drops. My 2 favorite cases in the catalyst impact and speck candy shell grip are not available for iPhone 13s. Go figure, the 2 best handling cases ... show more

    • Not fully MagSafe compatible.

First of all, I love my catalyst cases. Had one for my X, and made sure they made them for this phone before I even bought the phone. I returned this case, but only because it isn’t fully MagSafe compatible. This case will work for a flat charging pad you set the phone on, but if you want to use the magnetic attachment of a charging pad or magnetic attachment, this case isn’t for you. I ordered the other catalyst case that’s fully MagSafe compatible and love that one. Still give this one 5stars because the quality is premium, and only returned it because I didn’t really understand the capabilities of this case when it came to MagSafe compatibility. Maybe they could be more clear in the description what will function with it, but maybe that’s on me for not fully understanding MagSafe before purchasing. ... show more

Case covers up ring/mute switch with a spinning wheel that can break. Mine has broken off after 1 year and now I can’t use the ring/mute switch on my iPhone. Update - phone cracked while in case after dropped from hip level. 1 star. Don’t get this case.

    • Simple, sturdy case with a wrist strap

I normally go case-less, but sometimes I want the extra security of a wrist-strap. Surprisingly, not that many case manufacturers have attachment-points for wrist-straps. I used this manufacturer's case with my old iPhone XS, and liked it enough that I decided to get it for my new iPhone 13 Pro. It fits perfectly, and provides double security by making it nearly impossible for me to drop my phone using the wrist-strap and by providing protection should I somehow manage to drop it anyways.
