So far my big furry dog and I are loving this brush! Used it for the first time today and I love that it's an oval shape and bigger than the pet brush I use for the cats. The prongs are round-tipped, plentiful, and about a half inch long. The brush goes easily through his thick fur, and he loves being brushed. He is really shedding this spring and has a thick undercoat that comes out in tufts this time of year. This brush works great and is exactly as described. I wish the handle was more durable as my cat has chewed it and destroyed the handle. Gets a huge amount of hair and removing the hair from the brush works super well. Won't go back to any other style of cat brush.

My cat Minnie absolutely LOVES this brush! It's very easy to use and not to mention it makes her feel comfortable. The brush isn't too rough which helps the entire experience, and after just a minute of use she was laying on her belly waiting for more! The brush allows you to pop out the excess fur, leading it to be very clean. With the fur being able to pop out, it's easy to clean within the crevasses of the brush and get rid of excess fur. I have an old cat who has more skin sensitivity due to less muscle and more bones underneath the hair. The pins of this brush are rather thin, so they feel sharp and uncomfortable in the bone areas, as well as for belly brushing, even though my cat is long-haired. Perhaps, for younger cats it's not a problem. Also, the pins are set at certain angle, so you would have to move your hand, sometimes in an awkward position, when brushing different areas for correct brushing. My cat Fozzi Loves this brush. He gets matted hair by his tail and this gets them out gently and without tearing them out. I was a little skeptical and lowkey worried about using this on my cat who turns 16 this year. She’s pretty fluffy and unfortunately can’t groom herself as well as she once did. She’s been getting matted on her lower back and tummy area lately, and I actually had to shave her in places at one point. That was traumatic for her so I got this brush and it is a life saver! It must feel so good because every cat in the house loves it! But the amount of fur that came off…that is astonishing. Especially on her. She is so much softer, and I’ve only done it twice.
