The media could not be loaded. Upon arrival, I saw that the straps for the shoulders did not have buckles, they just have a loop where you thread string through in order to make it a “backpack.” My cat is 5 pounds and it doesn’t support her at all. I tried to DIY and use tape to support but that only worked for 5 minutes. I’m lucky that my cat has not been injured.

I kind of didn't think my cat would like this, but she totally did. I placed her in it and she just settled right in! It does have a weird plastic/chemical smell to it. It's REALLY strong, so I suggest airing it out before using it. It took mine a few days to stop stinking. Also, the straps could be a little better. It seems to be holding up OK but I'm not sure if they will hold up over time.

The pack was a bit difficult to turn right sides as it was inside out for shipping. My cat investigated it immediately to play in it like one of her safe cubbies and tunnels. The protective film on mine was difficult to remove as it was stitched into the seams. The pack can be laid flat in the car and makes a cozy secure bed. At the vet's office, the drop side unzips to allow the pet space to move around inside the carrier. Kitty was happier to travel in this than other carriers and the vent holes are big enough for her paws to reach out for comfort. Plenty of zippers to tend to your pet as needed. A strap on the back was not heat sealed to prevent unraveling. The large clear side lets the pet enjoy the view while traveling.

All 3 of my cats fit in this carrier, though my chunky girl didn't seem too thrilled lol The carrier has a smell to it so highly advise unpacking it and letting it sit outside for some air for a bit.

Only 1 of my cats likes being in this carrier, so you need to keep in mind the personality of your cat (other pet). If you have a pet that is active and curious and hates being confined in a traditional crate, this may be a solution for you. But, if you have a very shy pet, that hides under your bed a lot or that tries to hide in a traditional carrier, you may want to stick to a traditional style carrier. It's not terribly large, and might be best for young, small cats or kittens, but my larger Savannah loves it, and she has just enough room to curl up and lay down. She likes it so much she was already in it this morning wanting to go out on another walk this morning (She is not allowed outside except in a carrier as she is really fast and strong should something spook her, and I'd never be able to catch her). Some pro's are that there is plenty of air holes and mesh for breathing, there is a pocket to put items like nail clippers or a brush, or rabies certificate, the bubble window is nice and offers a great view to your pet, and a side mesh zippered opening. Some of the con's are that the shoulder straps could use a little more padding, the protective plastic is hard to remove completely, and the inside doesn't have much protection from 'accidents' & it doesn't seem like it's easy to clean. I would strongly recommend putting some kind of basket like liner in the bottom if you have any concerns that your pet may pee or poop during their time in the carrier (something like a large, removable silicone air fryer liner could work, or even those cheap ziplock rigid containers minus the lid. Barring those options a good, but small absorbent towel could work, the bottom is kind of hard, which makes it sturdy, but maybe not comfortable for your pet)

This carrier is so cool! My daughter has taken her young cat out for walks with it and it's worked great. My smallest dog will fit in it but he's a porky little Chihuahua mix and doesn't like it much. The fact that it opens up is great for allowing the cat to be outside without worries of it running off (inside only cat). Don't get me wrong, if you jiggle alot while walking any animal you have inside isn't going to be happy. Regardless it's a novel way to transport a small animal and everyone will definitely be looking. It's VERY well crafted and I could see it lasting for years with no troubles. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this carrier 👍😁👍

I have been seeing these on various social media or TV shows for a while, so I decided that my Sphynx needed to get out more. The pack came cleverly packed so when I got the box I was thinking it would be too small, but it is actually quite large. I did not have the problems the other reviews had with the straps, so I am guessing the manufacturer either fixed it or it was user error. The straps install easily and definitely lock to hold weight without slipping. The viewport window is clear and has plenty of ventilation holes. The pack floor is sturdy enough to hold weight without bending, but if you have a heavier animal, or one nervous about footing, perhaps a thin board underneath would help.

this backpack is absolutely amazing!
