The cat backpack was honestly a good buy, my cat doesn’t have a lot of experience being on one— yet he immediate crawled into it when I opened it up for him! At first glance, the backpack was a bit underwhelming as it was unzipped and shapeless. Assembling it was pretty easy except for the plastic dome. For anyone who is struggling with the dome, the second video explains a little bit how to put it on. However I might do a small picture guide. Overall, the backpack is very useful. My cat is about 13 pounds, and although he’s not heavy, having him on one shoulder was painful when I had a regular cat carrier. When there was an emergency at our apartment and I had to walk around as we waited for further updates, the previous carrier I had focused a lot of the weight on one strap. This one helps divide the weight on both shoulders, and the chest strain further helps! The only downside is that the pad that’s in there already busted a seam, but that could’ve also just been my silly cat. Highly recommend for our feline friends!

I love this backpack and I think my cat prefers it to her old one - it has a slightly larger area inside for more room for my cat to lay down. it's super comfortable to wear, and so cute! we took it on a long hike and stored some snacks in the pockets and it was really nice to fully unzip so my cat could lay half in/half out of the backpack while we took a break. I love this carrier! time will tell if it holds up well.

But aside from that discomfort, Earl Grey seems to love the bag. There's two front pockets that I use to hold his food/medications. He's 10lbs and was decently comfortable since the straps are wider. There's a little latch inside the bag which I don't know if I'll ever use with a cat but great for a small dog option. There's also little flaps on both sides of the book bag for you to roll up and button away for the cat to take a look on the side.

The media could not be loaded. This product is easy to wear. It has padding on the back. The 2 things that i have complaints with is in the first picture after the second usage the bag started to cave in on itself. The insert with the white fuzzy on the inside is very hard, my cat doesn’t like it. I just put a sweater over it. My cat is 4 months old and i feel like we will get a couple more months out of it because my cat is getting really big.

This thing is big and sturdy. My kitten loved it after I left it for her to play in and get used to and she does fine in it now for small trips. It’s a very good product. I’ll have to see how well it works for my 19lb chonk!

Small for my dog. Toby is a 20 lb Chihuahua, so the backpack works with the front flap open. I like the design of the backpack. It has a hook to attach to the pet's collar. All around I think that this a great product. I have not used it for hiking yet, I just wanted to make sure Toby fit.
