The last owner of my car was not knowledgeable on BMWs in general! That said, they were adding in 10W/40 oil when the level dropped (an evident BMW thing). As the oil was just changed before I took possession, I waited a while to change the oil to this brand. After much research, I decided that this brand will do what is best for my car. I run the Castrol Edge 5W-50 in my 700WHP 2007 GT500. Noisy on start-up (it’s 5W-50 weight oil) but it always drains clean and it comes in the exact amount needed for my car, 6 quarts. Must buy for GT500 owners.
