The Casa Diva Smart Toilet arrived on schedule and in good condition. Since it is fairly heavy, you will definitely need a helper to set it in place. It uses two brackets screwed to the floor to hold it in place instead of the normal toilet bolts. One of my original concerns was getting the brackets in exactly the right place so the side screws would match up with the hole in the bracket, but that was not an issue. The brackets have multiple holes, so the positioning is not critical. I had no problem securing the toilet with the side hole screws after setting it in place. One review about these toilets said a plumber would not install it because of a concern that the brackets and side screws would not hold the toilet securely. That is not a problem IMO. The toilet is so much heavier than a traditional toilet that it is going to stay in position based on just its weight and with the side screws secured, that toilet is not going anywhere. The challenge can be making the connections behind the toilet. The rear of the toilet angles toward the wall so at the top there is only about an inch clearance. My water valve was inside the width of the toilet so it makes a pretty picture with the water valve hidden, but when I first set the toilet in place, I found it was impossible to connect the two pipes from the toilet. By using a short supply line between the wall valve and the connector supplied with the toilet, I was able to connect the plumbing with the toilet sitting halfway in front of its final position (on a couple of boards) then with a new wax ring in place we lifted the toilet into position with all the connections easily fitting inside the rear cavity. With the toilet in place, I can just reach the valve to turn the water on and off. If your wall valve is outside the width of the toilet, you will have a much easier installation - that is something to consider when planning for any of these toilets. All the features of the toilet work as described, and I am very pleased with this particular model which I selected after carefully studying various Smart Toilets in this price range. ... show more
