  • Can't go wrong!
Color: Red
I bought this piano in red on Nov. 4th, 2025, and I love it. I bought another brand (Kawai) right before this one, and I wasn't happy with it. I've owned a Kawai in the past and loved it, so I was surprised I didn't care for that one. I love everything about this PX-S1100. With headphones, it sounds beautiful. The onboard speakers are fine, but would be great if connected to external speakers. I love the key weight, but several reviews mentioned the keys feeling light. I disagree, they feel great. Love the color, and the key bed is solid and substantial. Didn't know if I'd like the key texture, but it turns out that I love it. For some reason, when I play this piano, my fingers seem to move effortlessly on the keys. I think it's a combination of the key weight, the key texture. Don't listen to reviews saying the key weight is too light. I almost didn't buy this piano because I was afraid the keys wouldn't feel weighted. If that's a concern for you, get that idea out of your head. These keys have a lot of weight to them, and feel great. I can't imagine anyone playing this piano and not loving it. The build quality of this is solid, sturdy and still very light weight. Also, I paid almost 400 dollars less for this piano than the Kawai. Great all around digital piano. ... show more

  • Absolutely Amazing
Color: Black
It feels great, it sounds great. This digital piano it's just phenomenal especially when considered the price it's just too good. It sound really, really close to a real piano it's actually mind-blowing. Ad the action is great. There are some people on YouTube saying that the action is "too light" or it doesn't feel real. Well, its just baloney. Casio pianos gets a lot of hate online especially from the hardcore piano communities that for years have been fanoboying about Kawai, Yamaha and Roland. Casio in the last years have done incredible progress in terms of quality and that for some reason annoys certain group of people. The Casio PX-S1100 in my opinion the Grand Piano tone completely blow out of the water the Yamaha models on the same price range, is totally on pair with Kawai and Roland, for example the Roland FP30X. If you like a more mellow sound the Casio PX-S1100 is what you want, where instead the Kawai especially has a more brilliant tone, either one of them is fantastic. The action is really good and I can barely notice any difference in weight between the keys. Only if I REALLY pay attention to it I can feel a VERY slight difference but nothing at all that may be end to be annoying or disturb your playing in any way. This model actually uses a new chip compared to the older PX-S 1000 and you can totally hear the difference, the sound is more clear and deep. And it looks super sleek, I can literally set aside my computer keyboard and put the piano on my computer desk and use it, that's how slim it is. You cannot find another digital piano with that performance and is that sleek, thin and light. The Kawai ES110, Roland FP30X, Yamaha P125 are much heavier and big and for sure I couldn't never be able to just put aside my pc keyboard and use my computer desk as piano desk as well. If you have space issues or you want something that get the smallest amount of space without sacrificing sound and piano action quality at this point the Casio PX-S1100 it becomes a no brainer and there is NOTHING remotely comparable on the market. I reserve to update this review if I will have new thoughts and opinion as I know this digital piano more. So far, it's an hands down 5/5 stars. ... show more

  • great piano and weighted keys
Color: Red
The piano is the Hamburg Steinway, a fabulous sounding piano that plays everything well. The keys are perfect for me: something about them just works. I immediately loved the experience of playing the initial sound of the piano when you first turn it on, so if that's all you need, this is a fabulous buy: the lightest weight weighted key top notch piano in the world. The drawback is the interface: it's not intuitive, and it does not store any of your patches or your settings. Still: one of the best live piano sounds out there (great even in MONO!) and my favorite weighted keys. Tried Yamaha, Roland, this was better (I don't care for the CFX or whatever the Roland piano sound is). I went for the PX-S3100 so I could store settings and use it for live. Oh! And the built in speakers ROCK! Super buy here. ... show more

  • The best choice alternative to a Roland PHA-4 action keyboard if you want a lighter action The best choice alternative to a Roland PHA-4 action keyboard if you want a lighter action
Color: White
Everything you see online is true: Crazy portable (very light ~25lbs), crazy thin (<12in deep), lighter key action than the Roland PHA-4, but not so light it feels unrealistic. The action very near the keybed (back of the keys closest to the dashboard) is definitely very stiff compared to a longer-backed key action. But, easy to get used to. High quality and well worth the cost! The speakers are next level from where I came from (a very old Roland). I love the 3rd sound mode- sounds very realistic with the hammer strikes and sustain pedal noises! ... show more

  • Damage usb port
Color: Black
The keyboard itself is phenomenal I love using it and it sounds amazing. There’s just one issue, when the package had arrived the usb port was damaged. I don’t know if it was already damaged before shipping or if it was damaged through the shipping process. And it’s unfortunate because to really use this keyboard to its full potential I’d need the Bluetooth capabilities. Fortunately the blue tooth still works but it can be a hassle to fiddle with because you need the usb port to be in the right spot. That’s my only issue with it and I would love to have some answers or suggestions to deal with that because it’s a real and only issue I have with this. Aside from that though, the keyboard itself is awesome and I do love it already. ... show more

  • Best for entry level
Color: Red
As the price like this, this piano is very good. I am not an expert. Just entry level. So it could be the best choice for entry level. Hammer actions on the key is very similar to real piano. I used this piano to practice for a week. And then I play a song on stage with real piano. I could adapt my key touch feeling on a real piano right away. Need to note that this is a simple and adequate piano. Fulfill all you need for practicing. Anything beyond that is not it is supposed to. I wanted to record what I practiced. But that would need more equipment to connect that to a PC, like a connect cable, which it does not included. I believe the build in record function can only play right out from the piano speaker, if you can not connected to PC for recording. And the recording slot is only single one file. If you hit record again (by mistake) you will overwrite the pre-existing file. But none the less, this is a good buy. ... show more
