  • Great quality keyboard for the price
Style: Keyboard Only
The media could not be loaded. Great for beginners! The keys are true to size and they are touch sensitive so you can play different dynamics. Lesson feature is fun to play around with. Speakers aren't bad but obviously everything sounds a bit better when you use headphones.

  • NOT a new version of LK-265 or LK-266
Style: Educational Pack
This was advertised on amazon as a new version of the Casio LK-265 light up keyboard. It does light up but it DOES NOT HAVE KEYBOARD CONNECT that allows the lights to connect with the Chordana play app so you can learn more songs than are already programmed into the thing. The LK-265 and LK-266 models both have keyboard connect. This is the entire reason I bought this keyboard so it’s very frustrating to discover this difference only once it arrives. Bad labeling amazon. I understand that the others are sold out but this is really misleading. Aside from not being the new version of anything, the keyboard does have better lesson functions than the brand that starts with Y light up keyboard I purchased before this. At least on the Casio, the keys light up before you play them so it’s much easier to follow. But the sound is much worse- tinny and “toylike”. The whole thing feels cheaper. Without the ability to synch to an app, these keyboards all lack any real “lesson” functions. You can try to follow lights- it will not make any connections to reading musical notation if you don’t have a teacher or another app. If the reason you want a light up keyboard is to make it easier to learn songs- you only want this if you’re fine with whatever is programmed in already. This wi be keyboard #2 returned due to poor labeling by amazon. ... show more

  • Worth a buy! Great for beginners!
Style: Keyboard Only
Great beginner keyboard for the price! Tons of great voices and accompaniments. Touch sensitive keys are a major bonus, and the lighted key system works great! It can even be turned off if you not into that sort of thing, but I've found them to be very helpful for learning proper hand/finger placement. There is another review that gives this product only 3 stars because of "hard to press keys'. I am truly dumbfounded by this person's review because the keys are VERY easy to press, and are even touch sensitive as previously stated. The person who wrote that bad review either got extremely unlucky with a defective unit or they are just flat out lying. My guess is the latter. Overall this keyboard guests a 4.5 out of 5, but I'm rounding up to 5 to take some of the sting off the 3 star review from someone who is being dishonest. This keyboard is definitely worth a buy! ... show more

  • Great, Quality Keyboard - Tiny Footprint!
Style: Premium Pack
Great starter keyboard! I actually am using an app to learn, and the MIDI connection works great. My iPad with the app is connected via 3.5mm cable to audio, I use a Lightning to USB Micro for the MIDI connection, and then plug in the headphones to the piano. I can practice (SILENTLY) and still enjoy learning the piano. It’s also significantly smaller than others, which makes storage a breeze! ... show more

  • A great bundle and software!
Style: Educational Pack
If you are looking for a keyboard with the basic essentials to get started, this is perfect for anyone. The keyboard and stand will get you started and the midi cable (to connect to your PC) with the eMedia Starter Keyboard software is a must have. I 100% recommend you to connect the keyboard to a PC while taking lessons since it will provide a better interaction with the software. The software contains a lot of material to help you get going. For someone like myself, a middle aged man who played alto sax in high school and always wanted to learn piano, some of this was review. But there's a lot which was new to me as well. For example I know treble clef but not bass clef, or I know the notes and pitches but not the keys on the keyboard. The software starts everyone at a position where it assumes you know nothing and helps you to build your fundamentals. As you play on the keyboard the software colors in the notes on the screen as you play them correctly to show your progress. At the end it provides a percentage to show how much you got right and what was wrong. If you need, each lesson has video tutorials or images of keyboards to show you which keys to play when. Very nicely put together. For someone like myself and spending an hour a day for practice, I completed the starter kit within 5 days. The format is so good I immediately bought the full software eMedia Piano & Keyboard Method v3 and continued learning (it's only been a month and a half now). The only negative aspect I can really think of, is the internal metronome which the software provides. Running this while playing the piano caused delays in the software to keep up with my playing (this isn't a fault of the software, just how technology works in PC's). What I would recommend is to download a separate metronome software (for Windows users, just go to the Microsoft Store and search for a metronome - there's free software out there which will do the trick). Overall, a great bundle and the software is great for kids or adults to begin their journey. The key though, to any instrument and learning style, is going to be practice, practice, practice. If you are committed to practicing, then you will be more than happy with it. ... show more

  • Great bang for the buck.
Style: Keyboard Only
This is a great keyboard for its price range. Can be plugged in to an outlet or powered by batteries to be played on the go. Speakers are plenty loud enough. Lots of keys. Lighted keys are great for learning new songs. Lots of sounds. Midi capable. You get a lot for the price.

  • A delivery from the United States to Japan is really early. The design is really wonderful.
Style: Keyboard Only
A delivery from the United States to Japan is really early. The design is really wonderful. I was considering purchase of one of Japanese LK-512 and American Lk-S250. I bought LK-S250. Because the design is wonderful for LK-S250.

  • Not for people with finger pain
Style: Premium Pack
I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. The light-up keys are helpful for beginners, but I had to press down quite hard and that aggravated my finger pain. In 2-3 days I put it back in the box and ordered something else. The bundle is good, though, and I was sorry to have to return the headphones, which are very comfortable. The stand was sturdy enough for a keyboard this size. ... show more
