Feels sturdy, dividers in the bottom keep paper money from sliding sideways, trays in the top hold the coins. It includes two keys (make sure you label one and put it somewhere safe in case the key in use gets lost, tiny keys can disappear easily). It's not only practical, it's stylish, with a pleasing design, and includes coin wraps for storing coins in between use or for taking coins to the bank. Cons: The coins will spill if you turn it over (the coin tray isn't tight against the lid when it's closed). There's no metal loop on the back to padlock the box to a cable or table. As an alternative, you could put a cable through the handle so no one walks off with the box at a garage sale, it's just not as convenient when it impedes the handle. I didn't take off a star because the box is otherwise nicer than other cash boxes I've had in the past.

Great quality cash box from Goehiaul! It's fully metal, the keys turn the lock quite well, and the box really separates each bill and coin nicely. The included coin wrappers are a bit on the thin side but they work well and are easy to break. I love the bill holders but beware they are very springy so they slam against the metal box loudly unless you guide it down slowly. The cash box is indeed large, and you need to lock the box before picking it up by the handle, or all your money will spill out. The coin tray doesn't pull out but there is enough room to put large bills or checks underneath the coin till.

It weighs about 4 lbs, which is a plus for me, but maybe someone weaker wouldn't want the added weight. The spring clips that hold the money down have firm springs that holds money tightly, with 4 compartments with clips for bills along the front of the bottom. In the back, there is a long, deeper compartment where you could put checks, coins rolls, or larger bills. The setup is pretty nice. My only gripe is that, as heavy duty as it seems to be, the hinges are weak laterally, and allow the top of the box to become misaligned while closing it, to the point where the latch will not engage properly. It's not a big deal, you just have to make sure the lid sits right while you latch it, but it's not quite as good as it could be.

We'll be participating in yard sales and tag sales this summer, so this is a welcome change from the other little tin box I'd been using in the past. It is bigger than expected, which I'm happy about since the bills actually fully fit in each slot. Nicely made, fully metal - the keys turn in the lock perfectly. I appreciate that they also included coin rolls with this; saves having to buy some when you're overrun with coins. ;) Good quality - highly recommend!

Ok, the box only latch’s via the key lock. If you do not lock it, the top is not retained so if you pick it up, everything goes all over the place. This is NOT a functional cash box for real use. It is ok as a very temporary box if not opened often. You need to lock it and remove the key and then return the key and open it for it to be even slightly functional. Again, it is the lock mechanism that is a problem. The lock would be fine if it had hasps to lock the top and then the key lock was to keep honest people honest. Other than the key lock, the rest of it is usable. The bill holder work and the coin box sort or works as long as you do not tilt the box. There is no cover over the coin area, so they can move around and out depending on how you carry the box. The metal of the box is very light weight. it works, but it certainly would not take more than a minute to open the box if it was locked and you wanted in. Again, think of it as try to keep things organized and if you actually lock and remove the key, it would help to keep an honest person honest. Personally, I would recommend looking for a box that also has hasp latches on it and a covered coin tray.

Very nice cash box for regular use at flea markets, yard sales, or wherever it may be needed. Great size to keep bills and change organized. It's plenty sturdy with smooth hinges. You can lock it, but if someone runs off with the whole box, it wouldn't take them long to break into it. Just be sure to keep it away from potential theft!
