Sage is an apt description of the color. It really does nail the color of some sage leaves. The image makes it look a little more 'green' then it really is; but if you wanted sage, you get sage. And I love it. Very premium feel, not too hard-plastic or rubbery goo plastic in feel. Kind of reminds me of those nice flecked plastics we used to see; but without them turning to goo in 20 yrs (I'm looking at you, everything from 2003!). Fits around my screen protector very well, and isn't so close to the edges that I can't make use of the edge gestures in Android 12. Volume buttons are spot on and have a nice click to them, without being unduly hard to push like some. I would have liked some texturing on the buttons to be able to easily tell power/volume apart; but not really an issue. The case is a bit thick to work with magnetic Qi chargers and magnets inserted inside the case. Which, was never something it was advertised to do, but just some FYI. A magnetic ring on the outside worked fine, and some Qi chargers have worked through it fine. ... show more

I got this case for my phone as I am someone who constantly drops her phone. It is cute and fits very well. It has gotten dirty and faded a bit, but overall, does its job well of protecting my phone. I particularly like the added grip on the sides to help with one-handed holding. I would definitely consider this brand for future phone cases. ... show more

1. I've only used this case for 4 weeks. Both sides are already discolored, (the color is wearing off). Yes, I tried to wash it. I have the Ash Grey color. I have no idea how the color is applied. I usually assume most molded items are made so that the color is mixed into the product. The color on this case appears to be sprayed on. If this is noticeable in 4 weeks, what is it going to look like in a few years? 2. There are nice grips on the bottom half of the sides and on the bottom 4th of the back. The prism pattern on the top half of the back, and the smooth parts on the top half of the sides are much more slippery than I expected. I need to hold the phone only on the bottom half to be confident. 3. On the other hand, the case is very solid and fits the phone securely. I feel it will provide protection from most drops. The buttons work with no issues. 4. My suggestion to the manufacturer ... Offer the same case in solid black (without the red trim). I'm not confident the color trims will not wear off. Make sure the black is actually part of the material and not painted on. Make the whole case more tactile (sticky). 5. Bottom line ... Good case for protection. REVIEW MODIFICATION: * Originally I said the color was coming off. Now I'm not so sure. Perhaps the color is not really coming off. However, the color has changed a little with time. Lets face it, a lighter or medium color is going to absorb a little dirt or skin cream or natural oils. I was probably mistaken to think the color was sprayed on. It's not really that bad. * Originally I said the case did not seem grippy enough. It's not as grippy as a previous case I had, however after using it for longer, I never felt it would slip out of my hand. Although I do wish the material was a little more sticky. * It still appears this case will provide good protection for my Google Pixel 6 phone. I especially like that the case has a nice raised frame around the camera lenses. * At this point I'm upgrading my rating. ... show more

I think this is a great case overall, it fits well and looks nice. The sage green color is a nice pastel that would go really well with the right customs colors from the theming features in Android 12. The buttons are still really clicky through the case and feel nice. The case has a little speaker grill cutout at the top that seems to collect a lot of detritus but it's not something you can see and it's easy to clear out. My only complaint is that the rubber alongside the long edges of the phone feels a little too pliable, especially around the volume rocker, and if it were dropped in just the wrong way I could see it not adaquetly protecting the screen. There's a balance between thickness and protection but this case feels a bit too thick to have an issue like that. Unfortunately the way the corner rests in my hand is causes my pinky and ring finger to go to sleep. I wouldn't knock the case for that, it's just unlucky ergonomics and it's probably fine for 99% of people. I'll be returning it based on that but I think it's a good case for most people. ... show more

Very nice case and appears that it would cost much more than it does. Can easily be used on a male or female phone without question. Thin profile but appears to provide good protection at the same time. Very comfortable in the hand.

I've had this case for around a year, and I still love it. I've used cases from most of the big brands, and nothing comes close to this. The aesthetics may not be for everyone, but I love it. The textured grips on the sides and the scale-like pattern on the back feel great to hold and make it pretty hard to drop your phone. The few times I have dropped it (all while removing the phone from my pocket too carelessly), have left no scratches, cracks, or dents in my phone. The case offers great protection and isn't overly thick. The only complaint I have is that the color I bought (green), has been getting slightly yellowed. However, washing it with soap has seemed to get most of the color back, and regardless the yellowing is far less than any other case I've seen over this period of use (apart from those ridiculous otterbox-like hard plastic cages). If you get a different color this shouldn't be an issue at all. Highly recommend ... show more
