I bought this Casematix hard shell case to keep my laptop safe when not at use at home or when I travel. I have a 17" laptop and there's plenty of spare room for wires and I should be able to even fit my audio interface in the case. The case itself, is strudy, might survive being thrown out of a car and ran over and as a friend told me, I look like a spy carrying it around. Cons are it's more bulky than a bag and it's pricier than the cheaper laptop bags, but some of the nicer more well thoughtout bags aren't that much cheaper, although do offer more storage space for other things.

The brand Logo sticker was pealing and falling off when I got it, but that's fine, I wanted to replace it anyway with a custom sticker. This thing is a BEAST! If you are protecting a $5k+ Laptop it's worth it, but you are going to get a work out carrying it around. It's not like a nice thin Laptop case. It's a serious case.

Picked up the Casematix laptop case and it’s exactly what I needed. Feels solid without being bulky, and my laptop fits nice and snug. I like that it actually gives me peace of mind when I throw it in the car or carry it around—no worrying about bumps or drops. Only downside: it’s a little more rigid than a soft sleeve, but that’s kind of the point. Overall: clean, simple, and reliable. Just works.

I got this to protect my laptop on my road trips. It's pretty awesome knowing that my laptop won't get scuffed, scratched, dinged, or damaged in any way (SSD drive btw) while going up and down mountains. The only downside, is that there is no room for the laptop charger. I have a slim brick, and it would only fit if I cut out some foam specifically for the power brick and cabling. Then there is the foam. This comes with a few foam inserts, which is great!! But you need to sandwich you laptop between a couple of those layers for optimal protection. But while doing that, you really have to try and close the case. Even with the drawbacks, I love this case because it excells at the one thing I need it to do: protect my laptop

I searched the internet for a hard case to fit my Zoom L12 mixer and luckily came upon this case in the Computer Laptop Case section on the Amazon site. I checked the measurement specs, and this case was exactly what I was searching for. My Zoom L12 mixer fits securely in the case as if it was specifically made for this mixer. On the outside are 4 lockdown clamps, on the inside is protective foam top and bottom, along with an additional thin foam topper/protecter piece. Perfect. When in the closed case, my mixer is secure, protected from accidental hard knocks, rainwater, spilled drinks, etc., and at a better price than similar cases made specifically for this mixer model. A great case for my particular need!
