Ok so I have been fooled by Case-Mates Scratch proof claim before but i thought good price and maybe they had fixed there issues. Literally 5 minutes after putting my phone into this case I noticed a scratch on the inside of the case obviously from me putting my phone in it so how is that scratch proof?! I'm scared to see how it will look after it goes for a ride in my purse. also the volume buttons seem very loose so much so that they make a noise when you touch them from the metal jingling. The Lip around the screen and camera are not as big as what I am usta from my Velvet caviar cases which are probably the most amazing cases I have ever owned also this is a super slippery case if I wouldn't have a popsocket on it it would be nearly impossible to grasp. On a positive side It Is a really pretty Neon Pink with purple sides and I did find a awesome popsocket to match. ... show more

Although the case is nice, the picture’s show that the case is a continuous closed on all sides of the edge of the phone. This is not true. The top, buttons and bottom are left open. Which leads to possible scratching. Had I know this I would not have purchased.

Review for gold iPhone / tie dye case: I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and the gold is beautiful against the rye die but... Ehh.. I was super excited to receive this case. I’m a huge fan of Casemate, but with the cases I’ve purchased recently I’ve noticed a decline in quality. I was expecting a little higher quality but it’s like they got a super cheap, plain, black case and printed the tie dye design onto the black case. The color is radiant and is as shown in the picture but I REALLY wish Casemate would still make the double layer cases which made you BELIEVE that If you dropped your phone, it would actually be protected. It’s super slick, there is BARLEY a lip on it. I’m exchanging it for a different case. Specs: one piece case (no rubber insert). Black buttons, full coverage. This case is really beautifully designed! It is sturdy, provides superior protection with the raised edges, and the raised graffiti design gives a good grip when holding the phone. Oh and it is lightweight. That was a very pleasant surprise. I selected this case because I wanted something that would protect my new iPhone 11 Pro Max while showing off my fun/colorful personality. I love that the really cool graffiti design tis eye-catching without hiding the beauty of my new phone. It doesn’t hurt that the price is less than half of what you would pay in stores.     • Gold iPhone - neon case review!
Color: Purple/Turquoise Neon Style: iPhone 11 Pro Max
I’ve been CaseMate obsessed for a while, but the neon collection is my absolutely favorite. The Gold iPhone 11 Pro Max looks BEAUTIFUL against the purple neon. The purple case is more of a pastel purple than a neon purple, but that makes it even more beautiful! This case makes me happy when I look at it. I have both the pink neon & purple and I’m literally obsessed with both of them (writing separate review for pink). PROTECTION: Casemate has a 10 foot drop protection AND according to the box, this case comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY.. I haven’t looked into the limitations, but it’s good to know. There is a very small LIP that protects the camera AND the screen. I wish it was a little larger, but time will tell. GRIP: surprisingly, the case isn’t slick. It’s very easy to hold and I haven’t dropped it once. The case IS PopSocket compatible, so one can be placed on the back without any issues and it can be removed without leaving a mark. DURABILITY: since the back is shiny, I was worried about it scratching easily; that is not the case! So far, there isn’t a single scrape, and the back of the case is just as beautiful as it would be if I kept the plastic covering on it! COLOR: it’s more of a pastel purple than neon, but it’s seriously so beautiful. LOVE the shade of purple; it’s not too overwhelming and it is transparent so your phones beauty can shine through, giving the purple a different tint with each color iPhone. FIT: a couple times, I’ve noticed the sides kinda rubbing against my phone when I pick it up. I’ve removed it from the case and my phone isn’t scratched. I’ll check back if I have any issues. Overall: 4/5! The rubbing against the sides of my phone worries me, but I think it’ll be fine. The color sold me. It’s so much more beautiful in person. ... show more

    • Very Disappointed Did Not Protect Phone
I bought my daughter an iPhone 11 for her bday in April, she originally had the Casemate twinkle case on and it felt good quality and durable. She decided she wanted a neon Casemate case and since the twinkle case seemed durable I allowed her to buy the neon pink case. After just a week of use the neon case slipped out of her hand and fell on cement at less than a 3 ft drop and her brand new phone shattered. So disappointed with this case. I’ve used otter box clear cases for years and have dropped my iPhone XR many times and never had a crack. I’m disappointed that my daughter had this case on for a week and only had her phone a month and this case did not protect it from a minor fall. It’s a cute case but useless when it comes to protecting phone from drops. Now we have to pay to replace the screen and we went back to otter box. ... show more

I really love the look and style of the case. My biggest issue is that, the first one I ordered looked like someone had used it already. It was damaged and I was able to send it back and get a replacement fairly quickly. My next complaint is, when your putting the case on, it gets these “stretch marks” on the black edge of the case. I have an iPhone pro max, and the case I bought is for that phone. This happened with both cases both times I put tried it on my phone. (The first case I didn’t notice the damage from what looks like someone else’s use until it was on my phone) I’m not really sure why that scratch/ stretch mark appearance happens but it’s frustrating considering it’s a brand new case that now looks scratched on the edges. Maybe I’m just being critical about it but I’d prefer a brand new case to not do that. Overall I’m happy with the overall look of the case. ... show more

The case is beautiful.. but the case chips . It start to get dents then chip off very quickly. I bought 2 and the second one did the same . Very sad
