    • Great protection for your phone

This is a solid case for the ROG phone 8 and 9. It's not too heavy or bulky but it definitely seems to add a decent amount of protection for bumps and drops, as well as keeping fingerprints and dirt off the back. I did notice the holes for the camera and flash are a little bit off-center. There's no gap on one side and a good millimeter or two on the other. It doesn't interfere with the camera at all, but if you look closely it definitely looks a little off. Everything else lines up great. It's even got slots for the air triggers, while the physical buttons are raised and covered so they're easy to operate, if perhaps slightly more obtrusive than otherwise. The other noteworthy feature is that there are flaps over the USB ports. I'm not sure why as the phone has an IP68 rating, so it should be resistant to water and dust, and there's no real seal on the phone case, so it really doesn't add anything, and if anything it more often gets in the way. If you're someone that likes to plug in frequently throughout the day, you'll frequently be dealing with that extra step. This case doesn't block the wireless charging feature. I have noticed the phone tends to get a little warm when charging with the case, which doesn't happen without it, but it doesn't seem to harm it any and I understand that's common when charging through a case. Overall this is a good quality case provided you don't mind some quirks whichever way you choose to charge your phone in it. ... show more

Really well made and durable feeling case. The plastic on the back is of good quality, its quite thick and looks like it would protect the phone well. The hinge mechanism for the ring feels very sturdy and rotates with low resistance and clicks. It has cover flaps for the usb ports. Overall its a really well made case, much better than the stock cases and the one I currently use. The only negative is that the circle and ring on the back are made of plastic. I thought it was made of metal so that I could use the wireless charging feature. Unfortunately, it won't work with a wireless charger. ... show more
