I just received this and placed it on my phone. I can already tell by the build quality that it will protect my phone and last a long time. I love its flexible, grippy texture. This case also makes it a lot easier for me to slide my fingers and thumbs over the edges of the phone. The MAJOR FLAW is with the flash of the camera! Since this case is clear and there is a specific hole in the case for the camera's flash, then the light from the flash transmits through the case itself in addition to transmitting through the hole! This causes a noticeable and unwanted glare in the top left side of photos and videos. So if I want to take a photo or video with the flash, then I have to remove the case. I don't think the case's manufacturer considered this when they designed the case. I am a little disappointed because of it. Because of the glare caused by the case while using the flash, I have decided to remove one star from the five-star rating. ... show more

For a case this cheap you would think it would turn yellow fast and just not feel all that great but this is the nicest clear case I've tried for the 12r. Fits perfect, barely adds any bulk, but the corner bumpers and the front/back lips mean you can drop it over and over without worrying about it.

I love clear cases with edge lips. This case fits well and is cut precisely as far as buttons and holes lining up. I had my first drop and the lips surely saved my phone. I only wish they were higher on the sides but I understand why it couldn't be. On the contrary, I feel like I can't complain because I ordered a different one on Amazon that said it had higher lips and it literally didn't even come up on the sides where this one does. This actually covers the sides but because of the edge type of screen, I feel like the screen sits a bit higher and the edge part wouldn't be protected. But that's only speculation. So far so good. Fits okay, but anytime you use the flash the whole case lights up and anytime you take a picture it will put unessesary lights all in the picture due to the case being so close to the flash so it ruins any picture you take with the flash on. They could have designed this way better.

Works fairly well. I've dropped the phone a few times with no damage. It does come off at the edges with handling on occasion, (which is mostly due to the 12+ having beveled sides) and it collects visible dust under the clear case in back. Does the job though for a cheap case.
