This is a very nice and very tough case. In many ways, it is like the much more expensive Pelican cases, but better in several respects. The case is made of black (the top section) and red (the bottom section) polypropylene polymer which is an ideal polymer choice for injection molded items such as this. The polypropylene polymer can be molded into complex shapes using modern injection molding processes and it is relatively lightweight, but is very strong. These are all good characteristics for a product such as this. This case has a resilient seal around the top which provides the IP67 waterproof rating and it should last for many years. The case is equipped with enhanced latches which are easier to close and lock than the latches used on the very expensive Pelican cases. Thanks to those enhanced latches, the case is also much easier to open than the Pelican cases. This case also has two hasps for the installation of padlocks, should they be needed. The inside of the case has a multi-layer polyethylene foam insert that has been specifically cut so that a Milwaukee M18 Impact Drill, a Milwaukee M18 Impact Driver, a Milwaukee M18 & M12 Battery Charger, and two Milwaukee XC6.0 Batteries can be properly secured for storage and transport. The polyethylene foam is ideal for use in a situation such as this. It is sufficiently dense so that it is not easily crushed and distorted over time. Also, the polyethylene foam material does not break down the way that polyurethane foam does after exposure to oils or with age. Unfortunately, the “egg crate” type foam placed into the top of the case appears to be polyurethane foam. I will be replacing the polyurethane foam with polyethylene foam in the near future. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not leave the pieces of cut polyethylene foam in place inside the case. I say “unfortunately” because I did not want to put the Milwaukee M18 & M12 Battery Charger in the bottom of the case and was planning to leave that section of foam in place. Consequently, I will be filling that space with a piece of foam I will have to purchase and cut. I suggest that the Manufacturer leave the cut foam in place inside the case for the end-user to utilize as they see fit. I really like this case. It looks great and is perfect for the task. It has a great carrying handle and absolutely superior case latch mechanisms. The case hinge looks like it will last forever, and the handle end of the case is reinforced so that it will have a very long life. I very much appreciate the quality of this product.

In terms of price this case is a little more than the Milwaukee OEM cases, but the contents have much more cushion. In terms of construction, it is very good and will probably outlast the tools. The locks are particularly good for a tool case. The top and bottom are flat so it stacks well either vertically or horizontally, but it is a little deeper than OEM M18 cases so it does take up a little more shelf space. The interior foam comes precut to fit a list of Milwaukee M18 drills, impact drivers, and chargers. How good is the fit----just ok. I had picked up another M18 drill with battery and charger, but it was in a bag. So, I wanted a case for them and the M18 battery collection I have amassed. The 48-59-1812 charger, which is listed as fitting, is a very tight fit in lower level on the left side, but the issue is there is no room for the cord on the bottom. The cord has to be up on the level with the drill. But this is not all bad. The drill is a compact 3601-20 which, if I attach a XC5.0 battery, fits snuggly in the upper level. I usually use a smaller battery on the drill so the drill is no longer snug, but the charger cord takes up the space, so it works out well in the end. I have an OEM case for another M18 drill and impact driver, but not for the additional batteries I have collected. While cut out for an impact driver and two batteries, I can easily store five batteries on the right side.

For $55, this case feels like the name brand case at half the cost. It comes with well-cut inset foam for a Milwaukee drill set, but I had other uses intended for it. The latches feel good, hinges are strong, and the seals are perfect. This is a great buy. 5/5

Surely not what they had in mind but it fits my DeWalt cordless drill and my smaller 1/2-in drive impact just as good as it would Milwaukee. I was going to use it for my Milwaukee drill but I only have the 18 volt drill and my impact is the m12 surge hydraulic impact driver already in a case with my m12 fuel 1/2" hammer drill. It just seemed like a waste of space and I needed a case for my DeWalt stuff anyways and it worked perfect! That's a very nice case and I have several others from the same maker with other tools in them I've been using a while and they hold up very well. They have tumbled out of my truck, been in the rain, been in the snow, and everything inside has been kept in mint condition. These cases are every bit as good as pelican cases are but a whole lot better of a price.
