I know it was only $40 but I expected a better quality honestly. It seems like cheap foam that's layered to make up the slots for everything. I feel like it's a discount version of a hard case for my drone especially compared to my other two hard cases for my other drones. But I guess for the price I can't be upset. My RC Pro controller fits too snug and I think I have to do some modifications to it in order to fit the controller deeper because the external antennas seem as if they're going to be smushed. The foam under the lid of the case is of a good quality. Maybe I'm being too critical but overall it seems to be an alright case for the dollar value.

This is my review of Hard Case for DJI Mini 4K: Waterproof Hard Travel Cases with Custom Foam for DJI Mini 2 SE/2 Fly Combo, Large Carrying Box for Drone, Batteries, Charger, Cable, Propeller & Accessories (Case Only) I am a big proponent of spending money on protective cases for quality gear and after purchasing a DJI mini 4k I found the market rather slim on protective cases. After searching for a while and purchasing cases that weren’t quite enough, I came across this case from Yeteeth. I have worked in industries where all types of these cases are commonplace so I knew that this could go either way as far as quality goes. I ordered it both with excitement and apprehension. When I received it, my initial reaction was “Wow!’. The texture and feel of the case was similar to those that are not custom and twice the price with a very solid feel. All hinge pivots are metal and the clasps are smooth and beefy with a double pivot action. The clips are well protected with ridges of this plastic both on the clip and the top of the case. The handle has a slight rubbery feel where the red insert is and the pivot is made from thick metal. The handle lays flush with the front of the case as is common on these. The vent in the front is a much needed and appreciated addition. I stood on the case to see how durable it was and it held 170 lbs without issue but the air had created a vacuum and I was unable to open it without releasing the pressure with the vent. Size wise, it feels fairly compact and the handle feels a little small even in my hands but it is light enough where I do not see this would come as a problem. I do not see myself carrying this long distances by the handle alone. Opening the case is smooth and the lid has a soft gasket around it that helps to keep dust and dirt out and the lid stops at a little over 90 degrees staying open. Each piece of foam inside is cut specifically to dimensions of my drone and I like that it's big enough to keep both a propeller strap around the drone as well as leave the joysticks on the controller without removing them for storage. The top foam isn’t thick, but it is enough to keep the device from jostling around inside and well protected. Nothing shifts when carrying it and I can say fairly that it is the nicest case I have yet to come across. Overall, I highly recommend this case if you are looking for a strong and sturdy case that will protect your expensive equipment.
