Listen here, neighbors: If you’re still scrubbing your casserole dishes with steel wool and a prayer, you are living in the dark ages! I recently traded in my old box of powder for these Cascade Platinum Plus capsules, and I’m convinced they were engineered by the same geniuses who put Sputnik into orbit. I popped one of these little "space-age jewels" into the machine after a particularly rowdy tuna melt luncheon, and golly, the results were positively scandalous. Here is why these pods are the "Cat’s Pajamas": • The Shine is Blinding: My dinner plates came out so reflective I used one to check my hair and adjust my bowtie before cocktail hour. I haven't seen this much sparkle since I drove my Cadillac off the showroom floor! • No "Pre-Wash" Propaganda: They say you don’t have to rinse the dishes first. I thought it was a communist plot, but it’s true! I threw in a lasagna pan that looked like a crime scene, and it came out cleaner than a Sunday school whistle. • Neighbor Envy: Betty from across the street peeked through the window and saw my glassware. She was so green with envy she nearly matched her avocado-colored refrigerator. The Verdict: If you want to spend less time at the sink and more time working on your bridge game or perfecting your Gimlet, buy these immediately. They are the miracle of the modern suburbs. These are my go-to dishwasher pods. I’ve used them for years and they’ve been reliable at getting dishes clean. Every now and then I’ll see spots on dishes but that’s more of a hard water issue than the pods. However, these pods dissolve well, there’s no overpowering “soapy” smell, and they fit in my dishwasher with no problem. Cascade Platinum Plus is the best! It really cleans the dishes up well and I like buying on here and getting my coupon that saves me about four dollars from the local dollar store price! I am now getting this subscription for about every two months I think or it could be three but I live alone and I do a load of dishes about every two days, that sounds like a lot, but I am a person that uses a clean dish for just everything while I’m cooking!
